Root gets the last 2. England need 164 to win. Not going to be easy.

England on course to win, even Sibley's got runs! Currently 52-1 chasing 164.

Flipping the white screens over to their dark side should solve the problem?

15 runs needed, but the light fading, hopeful can finish it off today.

Well done to Sibley for reaching 50 somehow. But I stand by my previous view.

    Buttler has been excellent.

I agree, he generally struggles against spin

Job done, Sibley and Buttler see us home. Sibley gets a 50 too, well done him.

Great win that, to lose both tosses and still manage to win, even if Sri Lanka aren't at the moment the best test side, is quite a feat,

Always good to win, but our batting needs to improve for the next leg of the tour!

Same here, I'm just hoping fans are allowed in after missing the ODI against the aussies last year.

Indeed, it will be a very good test all round though, both with the bat and with the ball.

I think our spin bowling has to massively improve too, which is odd when they get all ten in the second innings. A lot were gifted to them though and the first innings showed they have to be far more accurate, otherwise India's batsmen will slaughter them.

Great win though. I guess Sibley has got to 'find a way' on the sub continent and to be fair to him, he has. Begrudgingly have to admit Buttler is finally looking good at this level. Thank **** for Root 66 though.

Interesting stat England are the first team ever to take all 10 wickets in the first innings with seamers and all 10 wickets in the second innings with spinners.

Lost all interest in cricket the last few years. Too much played and can’t get on with all the slog tournaments.
But I’ve enjoyed watching this last few hours. proper test match
