I watched the Wraith Podcast earlier as a one off as he had Mick Lowes on. Mick was on great form and said a lot about the current situation. He really did lay in to Joelinton, saying he’s the worst pound for pound footballer he’s ever seen in England. I think you misheard - what he actually said was you could get 55 Rubles (~50pence) for Joelinton. That's probably about right.
Two Callum Wilson's would do. The fact ONE Callum Wilson is actually 100x the player Joelinton is, yet cost half as much, says enough.
I agree. We were under £20m a player for over a decade.. then it jumped up to £20m then suddenly stepped up to £40m. Not many clubs double a transfer record that quickly.
