You can get iFollow for £140 for the entire season, home and away, if you live abroad. The whole idea of not showing the 3pm Saturday matches was that it could reduce the crowd by offering a much cheaper alternative. There are lot of us who watch iFollow that don't go to the matches at the KCOM. I haven't been since the play off semi final against Derby. It's just too far to go nowadays. They could sort out a season television pass for anyone outside of the HU postcode area. I would happily give £200 per season for the same deal the ex-pats get, so City would actually increase their revenue, not diminish it. I would still go to the away games round where I live.

The last game of the season was a 3-0 defeat at Oldham. Oldham had the better goal average going into the last game, so any win for them was good enough. A draw or a win in the last game would have seen us promoted in their place (as champions, if we had won).

Those who can't afford to buy ingredients for a meal so instead of spending a fiver and spending a bit of time to cook a meal to feed 3 of them order three takeaways before sitting down to watch SKY and keep up to date on social media on the latest model phones on expensive contracts?

When I said 1 goal would have seen us there I meant a goal when we drew or lost by one goal would have brought us one or two points and seen us up.

There are genuinely people out there struggling to feed their families
    I don’t like a broad brush statement
Most of the ones I’ve known don’t have time to think about a game of football more survival mode
So it would be interesting to know and I’d happily chip in to get them summat from the club shop if there’s kids involved.

I'd happily wager there are very few on here who've never watched an illegal stream.

The word 'Hypocrite' springs to mind.

There indeed are. Unfortunately some of the ones featured in sob stories in the papers aren't good examples for the cause. As was the single mum in the Mirror saying it was choice between feeding her kid and going cold and saying the government should give her the money direct instead of getting food boxes. Next to her on the kitchen table was a mobile and behind her on the shelves were 4 bottles of wine.

I'm more than happy to muck in and help anyone in genuine need, but a lot of the stories about single mothers wind me up, because it's not as if they were part of an immaculate conception, there's a dad involved somewhere who should be able to offer some support. It also routinely fails to mention the single dads out there, that get a fraction of the support of females.

I have watched ones shown on SKY and BT. But prefer to pay for the official stream on ifollow. They are different things.

There are always people who mug off the system, they shouldn’t detract from people who are genuinely in need.

I taught a kid a couple of years ago from a very poor family, his dad died halfway through the year. Sometimes it isn’t as easy as there being a dad/mum somewhere who should be doing more.

What also needs to be taken into account is how situations change. A woman with a mobile in the background, wine etc might have been doing okay, but her circumstances may have changed overnight. The phone might be her only way of contacting social workers, landlords etc.

It’s not fair to assume or generalise in those situations. It’s always easy to be cynical and I guess that’s because there are so many examples of people abusing the system, but looking at a photo or story and making a judgement call? Nah fam. Not today.

The woman with bottles of wine's situation had not changed overnight if you read the article. As could be gleaned from the comments of the readers of the Mirror who you would have expected to be more sympathetic than readers of some other publications.

Totally agree. I'm sure that lots of us older, genuine fans spread around the country in similar circumstances would welcome such a move.
Hope everyone is keeping safe and well
