What's the pain like? I get a really random really sharp pain in my left shin. Only lasts a few seconds at a time but it's the kind of pain that has me dancing about and swearing a lot. Was thinking it might be shin splints.
Could well be. It's cramp in your shin muscle, essentially. But if you're running etc. there's the added delight of it feeling like a nail being hammered into you shin with each impact of your foot. Used to play a lot of squash and it's a proper handful when playing that.
Man invented running to evade Lions and Tigers. Get yourself a circuit set up in your garden instead.
Decorating for me today. So once done I did a couple of indoor rides. first a simulated ride up box hill then a cool down ride. (Excuse to have a few beers)
Spent £30 on insoles this morning. The ****ers had better work. They were popping up on my Instagram page. I can't stand the fact that things like WhatsApp conversations are monitored and then all these ads pop up on social media etc. Certainly worked on me today.
I thought ads worked on your clicks. So for example I was looking at guitars just before Christmas, so then if I went and read the local paper, I'd start seeing adverts for guitars similar to that I had looked at pop up. If i'm looking for new clothes, specific items i've browsed again will pop up. Something like that anyway. Same with beer, anything really. I use an adblocker majority of the time, I only tend to stop it for reading media, they tend to insist on it.
What app is that you’re using ? surprised that your 7.85 mile walk is a 1100 calorie burn as the app I use (Strava) has a 10 mile off road mtb sesh at around 850 calories. never know how they calibrate these things ?
Was in a WhatsApp conversation talking about watches and one of the other people in the conversation started getting pop up ads from Omega the next day. Having never googled them or anything. @Sweats to confirm this true.
Was just having a read up on it in the metro, they did an article on it in 2019, seems whatsapp have installed a controversial new feature in 2020, which gives you ads.
Yeah and you’ve agreed to it as well, everybody has who uses the app. Facebook have everything. Mass migration to Signal from WhatsApp apparently, millions moving over.
