    I mean, they’ve had possession of the ball in our half. I wouldn’t say we’ve looked vulnerable often, and not at all for about 20 minutes. Marquis has been bested by Greaves.

    Good half of football that, two decent teams with the better one leading - we look solid throughout. Second half, Wilks needs to stop messing with defenders and get his head in the game.

    In open play we've been okay, set pieces still look nervy to me. But as I said, nothing new there.

    Only in so much that they have a bit of a battering ram up front. Dealt with it well so far though.

    Their cb pair will tire soon enough and we can stick a more technical player like the lad from Brum to play round them. No bother.

    So far, so good. We have looked the better side and deserve the lead. Need more from Wilkes up front but we have options on the bench which could make all the difference as the game progresses.

    I might be wrong but in the reverse fixture at our place Pompey failed to register a shot on target? If so, that’s 135 minutes of football they have failed to register a shot on target against us.
