There's a great article about Vesty in The Athletic at the moment, and how Ralph has them playing. Good for those that like a bit of a technical analysis, and also a lot of commentary about it from Vesty himself. https://theathletic.com/2329997/?source=twitteruk
Good news on Jannik Vestergaard. He is coming back sooner than first thought, Ralph Hasenhuttl has revealed. That will be a big boost going forward. Injury crisis getting more and more manageable.
Still to this day the most-capped England player never to have played in a major tournament. 21 goals in 46 games for England, which is as many as Keegan or Gerrard.
You could say we haven't missed him, 5 clean sheets in last 6 games, but we have. Not just his defending or ariel threat but his defence splitting passes give us that extra bite going forward
Moving to Citeh was a terrible career move for him, he was pretty useless there. That obviously affected his standing in the England stakes.
There are rumours that Frank Lampard is getting sacked today after the players were told not to report for training. I can see them going for someone like Tuchel or Allegri, maybe Rodgers would go there, but it won't be long until the media start saying they should go for Ralph.
My money would be on Tuchel , if Frank is to be sacked I would imagine his replacement has already been approached.
Yeah I agree. I'm not sure Ralph fits into the type of manager Chelsea go for. Aside from Frank, they usually go for a proven, big name, and there are a few of those available right now. Rafa back?
Can't see why it didn't work out for Pelligrini at Saints... what with his awesome man management skills
BBC has posted an article about each team's premier league player of the season so far based on their player rater scores (so it's essentially voted for by fans after each game). Given the performances and consistency of JWP, Vesty and KWP I was a little surprised to see Ings as not only our highest rated player, but the highest rated player in the whole league!
Here’s the link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55754971 Saints are also the only PL team, to have 3 players rated above 7 (Ings, JWP, Vestergaard)
