Graham on the bench Wyke upfront two obstacles to any real progress, so it will be more of the same, fair enough I suppose. But have we seen any real progress with these particular players, not in my view, yes he has scored goals, but he is more wrestler than footballer, useful in his own box, next to useless elsewhere except from less than a yard from the opponents goalline and not even reliable from that distance uggh, now watch him score another hattrick.
Although Wyke is not my fvourite player he has the goals. Do we need to change our approach to help him score even more. 2 wingers putting the ball in from wide might just do it. DG just a waste of a good skin.
I'm encouraged by the progress of O'Brien under Johnson ... .... and I've no idea where I'm going with this analogy so I'll stop there
I’m hoping we’re gonna see some fight today hopefully on the front foot from the whistle, what worries me is if we score early we don’t then defend it
The sun is playing havoc with the east stand seats behind Frankie and Danny. They will be pink again before we know it!
Me too, not great but very promising in his playing other players in and took his goal well, he has a trick or two and could be perfect if we had goal scoring mid field , and we have it, getting the right mix in that crucial department and we are not that far away, and 5 subs leaves lots of scope to find a combination that works, but room has to be made somewhere and for me Wyke is the one to miss out, its a gamble but it worked in the cup games.
always wondered in they have giant flags or covers for the seats when there are no games on, protect them seats a bit
Hopefully the new lads have a bit of cash to jazz the stadium up a bit while fans aren't allowed in. Even sponsors names on the flags/coverings could bring some cash in.
Fook it, voted home win. I don't usually as I feel like a jinx lol. Gonna crack open a lager now anarl, Coooomon.
