Are you the only single parent in the UK?!?!? <yikes> Wonder how the others manage.

Most people were still working during the pandemic. I'll not comment further on your pathetic 'family' dig, I wouldn't stoop that low.

Seeing as schools are closed I'm not sure a 5 year old would be able to stay home alone when I go out to work.

Not everyone can work from home by Zoom call.

You constantly take digs at me for not working I'm just explaining to you the sacrifice humans make for their children.

I was a single parent of 3 kids under 12. I was able to go back to work because I had a lot of support from family. If you don't have that then it's virtually impossible to hold down q job and make sure your kids are looked after.

If there was no lockdown I may be able to get my dad to babysit but he's 79 and terrified of getting the coof.

With schools closed and parents home schooling, even if I worked at home online you would be hard pushed to juggle both without neglecting the kids.

My eldest is doing GCSE's by himself and cooking his own lunches but my 5 year old is a little way off doing that, I still have to wipe her arse for her .

I'm liking it to be fair , I have a big garden to play in and great parks on my doorstep and don't have any money worries.

Living in a tiny flat or in a tower block with small kids climbing the walls must be a nightmare.

This is why I get scunnered with likes of Sexton and all the other cùnts on here who bang on about benefits and dole scroungers. I worked all my life and all around the world. If truth be told I actually missed most of my kids early lives because I was off working.

Then boom, whole world turned upside down in one day. Luckily for me I had money to fall back on and didn't have to sign on and was able to get back to work closer to home because I have a large family who helped me. Not everybody is as fortunate as me though.

You don't know peoples circumstances especially right now. The benefits system isn't a free for all it's a safety net and no one caught in it is living the life of Reilly. Despite what the papers might say.

You make daily digs at me, desperate ones, and do your usual victim crybaby act when it comes back at you.

Don't blame your innocent 5 year old btw.
