Venetias horses love the mud. Hope Royal Pagaille wins today. Hes entered in nearly everything at Cheltenham so its impossible to know his target.

If he wins this with authority today it puts him into the Gold Cup picture in my opinion - and with a sporting owner that could well be the target. But you are right, I think he's in everything bar the bumper and mares races <laugh>.

    Morming all...today's bets:

Ascot 3.00pm Espoir de guye 11/2 each way 4 places. Good course form and dropping back in trip will help.

Ascot 3.35pm Waiting Patiently 11/4 win as per post above.

Ascot 4.10pm Buzz De Turcoing 13/2 each way 3 places. The yard are expecting him to finish in the first 3.

The Drinkwater yard also run Russian Service and Swift Crusader at Taunton today. Yard feel they have outside each way chances. Russian Service has better chance.. likes the track but has become frustrating as he s not really been showing up.

    Good luck all!:emoticon-0167-beer:

Maybe Venetia and Rich will say the horse identifies as female after the race and give him the option of running in the mares. No harm having all bases covered at this stage is there.

    Good morning peeps :)

Today's ITV races look like this imo

    Asc

    115 Roksana for the hat-trick

150 Lightly Squeeze. Giving this lad another chance in a very open handicap

300 Espoir De Guye, another on a recovery mission 7-1, 4 places – danger Capeland

    335 Politologue

    Taun

210 Yala Enki has all conditions in his favour

    Hay

    130 Chef D’Ouvre a guaranteed ew

240 Sam’s Adventure but if Royal Pagalle can win under topweight, he is surely destined for better things.

315 Buveur D’air is bound to be primed and fit, and in my opinion can give a stone away to Ballyandy, let alone receive 6lb

    Good luck all <ok>

Jerrysback 9/1 Ascot 3.00 - Hobb's is hitting a bit of better form over the past few days and this horse likes it around Ascot, I think he can run a massive race for them today.

No huge fancies today. Will go for Waiting Patiently in the Clarence, as not impressed with who Politologue has beat since behind Waiting Patiently in the Tingle Creek.

1:50 - Lightly Squeeze, a good 3rd last time out and has only really blobbed once.
2:10 - Yala Enki should win but one to note is Al Roc. The Dr gave this a big write up in the Racing Post season preview as he was bought with the National in mind and seems a big price today, as the Dr is well known for improving horses from other yards.
    Other ITV pokes:
    2:25 Enquarde
    3:00 Good Boy Bobby

    Have a good day all

As Rudey picked out Dashel Drasher looks over priced to me on his course form and lto win.
Rocksana should win easily as the price shows.
    How does BVD get weight?

The front two in that juvenile hurdle at Ascot look potentially very smart <ok>

Great write up pops, I didn't see until now but did £2 ew on Russian just because of drinkwater and remembered he was having a few big price winners in last few months. That pays for my weekend bets now :emoticon-0169-dance

I've picked Danny Kirwan in this and Nicholls gives him a good write up on Betfair. Huge mother of a horse, can't believe he isn't chasing but they obviously think his mark over hurdles is attractive enough on handicap debut.
