We're not ... I'd take a fully fit Vardy over anyone in the league tbf ... but he hasn't been firing on all cylinders for the last few games and is limping off at the end ... I would have fancied him to have scored a couple that he has missed if fully fit ... rather have him back in full pomp for the run in.

The ongoing impact on revenues due to COVID can be the only explanation. With so many in with a shout at this point, you’d have thought that there’d have been a few dice rolled, but unless there’s a late rush it’s been a complete non event.

 

That and the fact that the only way top players will leave clubs in January is for over the top prices, with probably huge sums up-front as well, and banks upping the risk of lending to football clubs.
