A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in their bed. She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front him. He appears deep in thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of coffee. "What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room. "Why are you down here at this time of night?" The husband looks up, "Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating, and you were only 17?" he asks solemnly. The wife is touched thinking her husband is so caring and sensitive. "Yes, I do," she replies. The husband pauses. The words are not coming easily. "Do you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car?" "Yes, I remember," says the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him. The husband continues..."Do you remember when he shoved a shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to jail for 20 years". "I remember that too", she replies softly. He wipes another tear from his cheek and says... "I would have gotten out today!"
Great joke - heard it years ago in US. But the idiots were two English guys in awe walking through Chicago.
Just looking live on NBC right now at the new White House Press secretary, Jen Psaki. She is very considered and articulate. Why do I find her more attractive than McEneany? She seems more grounded and real...not a looker in the Hooters Bar style. So here she is answering questions about Covid, executive orders, impeachment etc. and up comes an English accent from the press corps wondering why has the bust of Winston Churchill been removed from the Oval Office? She gave it very short consideration and dismissed the query sarcastically as an irrelevancy...so I looked her up, she having ginger hair...yep, there is lots of Irish in her, along with Polish and Greek.
There's been a lot of debate about anti-Vaxxers on on the Internet lately. I am now coming forward to stand up and say I'm firmly in the anti-Vax camp. There, I've said it! I have my reasons, like many anti-Vaxxers, but it's important that everyone approaches this sensitive topic armed with the information THEY know to be true. I know my truth and I have first hand experience that backs up my stance. I had a Vax once and it was the noisiest, ****tiest vacuum cleaner ever. I will never buy one again. All these armchair experts have clearly never experienced the disappointment of having to go over the same piece of carpet again and again to pick up the same piece of fluff, and having messy children there is a lot more fluff than you think. I am firmly in the Shark camp, and I will not be told otherwise. Suck it up!
