AFC Wimbledon are 21st in our league, 12 below us.
If he can only manage 3 appearances in their team so far it doesn’t look like he’s an improvement on what we already have.
I don’t know anything about the lad but it doesn’t seem like an upgrade.
I think Younger looks good for LB, better than McF who looked good to start with but has been found wanting since then.
Someone who can’t get into a bottom 4 team isn’t inspiring.

That's how it's looking, Winchester being the first signing had to be a marker.... Long road ahead, would be able to handle it if Donald left the club.

It would be typical of us to sell our "star" striker without having a replacement lined up<laugh>

Baffles me how much stick Wyke gets at times. He was poor midweek (as was almost every other player) but he was also excellent last Saturday. If he was excellent every week then he would be playing at a higher level. If he scored more goals he'd also be playing at a highler level

There are only 3 players scored more than him this season in our league. So who does everyone want to replace him? Piggot? More goals and played more games. Jephcott? He was worse than Wyke midweek. The only 2 players IMO that are better than him in the top 4 scorers are Marquis and Clarke-Harris. And Marquis missed a couple of sitters against us last time we played them.

People can't get used the fact that we are an above average league 1 team who still think we should have championship quality players. Hopefully, once a takeover happens, they may get near something they expect.

Thats not really the case is it? The fact we would like a forward who can win the ball in the air, control the ball, lay it off to a team mate, and attack the ball. And not to duck when he goes to head the ball, give stupid fouls away, and have the ability to have more mobility than a ****ing lampost. Not a lot to ask really is it? Thats not Championship quality by the way, any striker who plays for us, even in league one should be able to do that, it just shows how ****ing piss poor our buys have been when we have more than one of the useless ****ers here at the same time! Curry must only have one leg if he cant get a start in front of the Donkeys we pay for at the moment

Curry with one leg would be better than either of the 2 G's

    This a million percent.

he doesn’t know how to hold up the ball and bring others into the game. It puts us straight under pressure again as soon as we send it upfield.

Best of a bad bunch though. Need rid of Grigg and Graham before Wyke. Unless we have someone about to come in. 3 strikers and Wyke being 2nd or 3rd choice before next season should be our aim.
Wyke has serious flaws, but Grigg and Graham (amongst others) should be ahead of him in the stocks, whilst getting pelted by rancid tomatoes, queue. 10 goals so far this season, for someone who isn't prolific, is good. He's improved recently, so can't complain too much.
Like I say, pre takeover, we have to settle for him, post, I hope he will be pushed out of the team.

The problems run deep mate. When Peterborough can attract strikers such as Toney and Clarke-Harris and we get Wyke and Graham, its ****ing chalk and cheese. In all my years I have never seen such immobile forwards, and i saw Thomas Hauser. I'm very confident that LJ has seen the problems we have up front or we have exceptional actors in training.
