I really don't understand why he thinks having digs at the Republicans is a good idea right now. They're the ones that can **** him up.
Very strange, even for that twat.

I think (and hoping) you're probably right but I was watching Bill Maher earlier this week and he said something very true of Republicans. They have this uncanny knack of coming together when they need to, even if they hate the bloke in charge at the start. So all the other reasons I agree with but the Republican Party I don't think will be much of an obstacle.

On a separate note I can see a few Republicans will try to out-Trump Donald when it comes to 2024, but without the crass idiocy and bare-faced lies. They can see the formula works but will polish the delivery a bit.

It’ll be interesting to see if he shuts the **** up now or carries on until the impeachment trial.

Same goes for his HillBilly army.

I think they did that when they corralled around him about the fake election fraud. Let’s not forget that literally all of them parroted that bullshit narrative. It was only when the court cases all amounted to **** all, that they started to slowly drift, and even then a good chunk of them stood with him until the final ****show. But now he’s history they no longer have to try and continually defend the indefensible and back up his constant lies, and that in itself will come as a relief for all but the most embedded in the con.

That ****s the whole formula, though. Trump's loyalists like him because of the lack of polish. "He tells it how it is."
What they say obviously isn't what they mean, as he lies constantly and bullshits regularly.
They actually mean, "He says the **** that I'm thinking and has absolutely no filter".
They like the lack of polish. He's not a politician. He's not a diplomat. He feels something and blurts it out.

Yeh but will that stop some of those ****s trying it though?

One of them might even pay Trump a few million to stand next to him in a few rallies in 2024, like an endorsement.

I just think he's introduced something into American politics which is an opened pandora's box.

Like Blair and his lies and plastic politics which imo has shaped UK politics for the last 20+ years - even most frontline Tory politicians talk like him.

You mean like treating it as a reality TV show for popularity ?

That would be something new to American politics <whistle>

He was sucking up to Steve Bannon again after he lost the election and then issued him a pardon on his last day.

Reckon they’ll be teaming up again for some ****e house antics. Not sure what though.

Maybe a cameo appearance in The Rocky Horror picture show maybe

In 2002, Margaret Thatcher was asked for her greatest achievement. She replied: "Tony Blair and New Labour. We forced our opponents to change their minds."

Depending on how Biden goes, this could be something Trump is saying in a few years.

Not a chance mate ... Trumps 'greatest achievement' will always be all about himself ... not gonna give a mention to a political opponent ... couldn't even bring himself to congratulate Biden, even by phone.

Not true. Biden has stated in interview, he had received a 'very generous letter' from Trump, but the letter will remain private for now.

That's not a compliment by Thatcher, that's putting the boot in. I would expect something like that in a book/big value interview in the next 12-18 months
