I had to angle gring a rounded nut off a smashed alloy wheel the other week. The slloy was ****ed. RAC wouldn't touch it as said it was a rta and not a breakdown. Chiseled off the cap but even the nut was knackered. Went either side of the stud then chiselled last bit to split it. I had to renew the stud mind as thread was shot on one side. I think i still have bits of metal embedded in my head tbh

That probably won't affect you too badly ...

... although you may need a doctors note to get through airport security in future.

Ford use a a code system for the locking nuts e.g. yellow triangle, blue circle etc. If you still have the bag it comes in the code will be on that bag. You can buy new lock keys for about £15. They only make around a dozen combinations of keys ( most manufacturers do ) if you call into a Ford dealer they’ll have all of them in their workshop and they might whip them off for you.

Failing that just have a slow drive through Pennywell and they’ll soon be off, you won’t even have to stop <laugh>

If he wants his nuts whipping off I know there are vets that do house calls.

I did replace them marra so technically no! I do have a mate who has 2 rubber nuts like and I was shocked that he had to pay for them himself after his cancer as they class it as cosmetic surgery.
