Seems strange if he is doing well in Scotland to come back down here

He is out of contract in the summer and wants to come back south as his family are down here.

Fair enough, rumoured to be until the end of the season so gives him an opportunity to earn his stripes and us to have a good look at him.

If a championship team wants Dempsey and willing to pay a fee can't see how we can say no. Not sure if he is out of contract in summer.

Financially you are right, I don't think we can say no, if the offer is good. His sale, could be enough to see us through until the new season, when crowds are allowed back, if the vaccine roll out completes successfully. I'd still rather keep him though, if we can. Get rid of the strikers we have, if we need to save money, we can get a donkey that don't score instead, and it would have the added benefit of offering donkey rides around the track of the pitch.

As well as saving money on fertiliser ( I don't think 'human' excrement is any good for the grass - or my viewing pleasure. )
