it was interesting as Delfonso et. al. go back to their clubs, Waghorn comes back to City for treatment. Cullen, Devitt and Cooper are all back at City for treatment, should we therefore read anything in to why Waghorn has nt gone to Leicester?
I suppose it will depend on things like the details of the loan arrangement, the nature of the injury and what the player is happy to do. That and the medical report both sound good for us.
Waggy is still our player and its in our best interest to protect him. Its pretty common with loan players that they go back to their parent club for some treatment so i wouldnt read too much into it
Maybe not for much longer !!! Its clear Sven dont want him and the player wants to stay with us and big Nige !!! UP THE THE MIGHTY TIGERS !!!
I wouldnt be so sure off that. Waggy doesnt want to leave Leicester but he will if he is going to be frozen out like he has been. Sven doesnt rate him that much is obvious But if Waggy does well for you come January when the loan deal expires we are going to put him back on the market and may want the 2M we paid for him back. Could you afford that? I cant see Waggy pulling on a Leicester shirt again but its no forgone conclusion he will still be at Hull when the loan expires
No Waggy should be being loaned out to an L1 or L2 team, not to a fellow Championship team that could affect our chances of going up... no wait a minute, it's only Hull - thank the lord for that !!
Yep, only the team currently keeping you outside the play offs, with the help of your players/ex players. You really are a bit thick
Player power isnt that strong. If you dont have the money then the move isnt going to happen. If you do have the money then Waggy could force it through but i dont think Waggy will want to leave on bad terms. He loves it here too much and doesnt seem like a person who will sulk
If were looking good by the January window the owners have said they will spend for a promotion push, so hopefully we can keep up our good form and get permanents for waggy and our young loan star Robbie Brady. So fingers crossed
If Waggy does well for you then we will want 2M for him again. Do you think you will spend that for Waggy. Southampton was interested in him and I would imagine they would be a in a stronger position financially then you to get Waggy but who knows
I think you've misread it. He's come back from the U21s but stayed with us at the moment instead of going back to you and we were asking whether anything should be read into him staying with us. I don't think it means anything though. England have sent him back to us because he's injured for their next game. Our staff will assess the injury properly and then speak to Leicester to decide whether he's going to stay with us or return to them for treatment/rehab before coming back for the rest of his loan spell.
I don't know why we didn't cough up the 1m for him in the first place, great little player and only going to get better. Despite what you lot have said in our last games him and Fryatt were showing early signs of a good partnership. I don't know how the paperwork and whatever goes for signings but maybe because your Beckford deal went through quite late, we took a 6 month loan with an agreed deal for a permanent in January in order to get the deal through before the deadline?
We wouldnt let Waghorn leave until we signed Beckford. We officially signed Beckford at 11.59 so i dont think there was much time for Waghorn to sort something out there and then. I think with Jeff Schlupp coming through now along with Nugent, Beckford, Vassell and Howard i cant see Waghorn coming back. If we do need another striker we have money to go out on get a new player anyway As far as we know Waghorn will return to us on the 1st of January and nothing is in place for after that.
another tiger bites lol.. you should go back to having players like... erm... Peter Swan, Justin Whittle and erm.... Pat Heard lol
leicester city going up ? dont make me laugh. money mercenaries the lot of them. cannot wait for december 3rd. put you over rated fools in there place. waggy will be a tiger and 2 million is cheap if thats the price.
I said this on another thread, Allam's should have coughed up 1 million and bought Waghorn rather than running the risk of scenarios like this were Waghorn could end back at Leicester never to return again after his injury. Plus you always run the risk of Waggy doing well for us and Leicester raising his value from the original 1 million to say 1.5, there is no way we will pay 2 million for him. Especially as we were offered him for 1 million in the first place. @ Proud Fox - Our owners have already said big Nige will have cash to splash in January as we look to maintain our promotion push, you know, its when a team in the top 6 has a real prospect of reaching the Premiership. You keep banging on about Waggy like your his agent, truth is he wants to play footy, with us he can do and make a name for himself rather than staying at Leicester and been over looked by Mr Burns (Simpsons). His value will remain around the 1 million mark so forget the 2 mill crap. Waggy has settle real well with us and he loves been back with NP. I think a deal will materialise in January for 1 million if nothing has'nt already been sorted as we speak.
