I take it Ivor has disagreed with @The Punter’s Pal? Taffy must have hated us winning yesterday, particularly after our second half comeback on Tuesday
It does appear he’s never happy even when we win - I’m just glad we still exist after douche bag and the other crooks
I watched the BBC program about Bury and the Phoenix club. That could so easily have been us. When ESI were plundering our club it was beyond our widest dreams that an owner like TS would come along.
Bowyer fook up again tonight. Starts with Bogle and Denzil and leaves Aneke and Schwartz on the bench?? Pearce been one big calamity lately - surprise surprise, he does it again. 2 minutes after Posh score and he brings on 3 subs - knee jerk reaction at its finest - as soon as he does this there's only going to be one winner.
Yeah you said that when he brought on defenders at the Den with the score at 1-1. Now fresh legs up front doesn't meet with your approval either?
He couldn't start with Schwartz because he isn't fit enough. Protecting Aneke because he could break down. Two individual errors the players made.
To let the ball bounce and let the opposition score is Schoolboy defending (Accrington) but to do it again 3 games later is unbelievable.
As soon as Posh scored he made 3 subs. As soon as they scored the next goal, he made 2 subs. That's changing half your team (that were playing well apparently) in split seconds.
Much as I don't want to agree, I have to admit some of Bowyer's substitutions look to be driven by flashes of anger rather than cool assessment of the tactical situation. It's a sign of how much he cares I suppose, but it does not serve him well. Lee, please chill a bit. Your job is safe, Sandgaard has your back. Don't let the muppets get your goat.
He all but admitted it in his post game presser "we controlled the game for 65 minutes" If you are controlling the game, why make 3 changes? Control was then handed over and game was lost!!
But he's made 3 changes while thinking you are "in control of the game" - his words, not mine! That's crazy.
PLenty of abuse for Bowyer on the other side, although it's all quiet on this forum. TBF he has earned some of the criticism, but not the bile n vitriol. Now that TS has backed him in the window, and we've got a series of games coming up against lower teams Thomas is entitled to expect a clear improvement in results, and performances. Don't forget he wants us to play exciting attacking football. If there is not an improvement he will be entitled to replace him with a manager who he believes will spend his money more wisely in the summer, and Steve Gallen will probably go as well. And TS will have my support.
