Worryingly, we had him on trial in Summer. He was the mystery defender. Can't think why we didn't sign him.

I think we look as though we wasted opportunities because we made more, and had a go more.

Much much much better .. seems the resolving of the KLP saga may we have been more of a factor then we suspected. Tbf it could and really should have been double that .. Mr Wilks needs to be sat down and explained to re choices and using team mates when in better positions .. if the lad develops some composure and starts to engage brain then we will definitely have some thing special on our hands with him .. really like the look of Crowley.. reminds me a lot of Hughes when he played for us .. composed and articulate with the ball. Excellent evening and lots of smiles on faces .. Pompey at weekend and a confidence booster before that .. UTT

Excellent performance. Could quite easily have been 6-0. George Long didn't have to make a save until the 87 min and that was a long punt straight at him. Never noticed the referee either which is always a sign that it was a good game. We looked so good in that second half, almost purring, sexy football, and every player will go home tonight knowing they are part of a very good squad that look promotion bound. Doesn't get much better then that.

That was a very accomplished display - any opposition managers thinking we're on the slide might have to think again; this lot are only gonna get better.

Very happy with that. We were far more direct, created lots of chances and could have scored 5 or 6. I think we have done well in the transfer window and we have strength in depth which will allow for rotation in the busy weeks ahead. The new boys have made good impressions and Crowley will get better once the rustiness has worn off. UTT

But if it ended in a tie, he'd definitely win as he'd have no passes.

Wilks wastes too much - can see him warming the bench when the new signings get up to speed

Back on top of the League after handing out a football lesson.Great team performance, great result and most importantly we've got a bench that most teams in this division could only dream of....That was a must win to get us back on track and could well be the start of a mini run that would see us drawing away.UTT.

We looked a very confident side 2nd half.
    Should have scored more
    Big game Saturday.
Looking forward to seeing Crowley play when he's match fit.

Have you accounted for the butterfly effect though Ben?

You've settled for a tenner less than you could have won.

Which means that you'll spend slightly less on that bouquet for the lasses birthday (or Valentine's Day, whichever comes first).

And feeling slightly piqued at your slightly undercut offering, she'll accept the intriguing offer she received late last Autumn to reconnect with the spotty Herbert who used to sit behind her in double History and tell her how much he liked her hair.

Especially when she hasn't washed it since Sunday bath night.

And he's now a highly successful Tory help ya self merchant who has the free school meal contract for the whole of East Anglia and is raking in £22.78 off every £30 food parcel being sent out to Lincolnshire's FSM6 cohort by filling plastic bags with 2 potatoes, 2 carrots and a Babybell and calling it adequate to feed a child for a fortnight.

And when she compares his well endowed wedge with your own shabby package she decides, with a heavy heart, where her future lies.

You're at a crossroads, mate. A sliding door, if you will.

    A tenner?

You should'ha hung on five more minutes.

    You could'ha ruined your life.
