If this version of Stayin’ Alive by the Isle of Man’s finest seems overly optimistic, it’s because someone needs to provide a counterbalance to the doom-and-gloom merchants on other threads who seem to be disrespecting our team and our individual players. For the record, I personally think that Davies, Moura, Docherty, Alderweireld, Dier & Winks are pretty good footballers, that Sissoko, Sanchez and Aurier are slightly less so; that Lamela is a bit overrated; that NDombele is better than I first thought…. and that, contrary to the opinions of some posters (whom I otherwise respect), Kane, Son and Lloris are not the only players worth a place in our team; and we are worth our place (6th) at least.
