Both ****, although nothing can be as bad as Carver to be fair. OK Bruce is bloody dire, but remember the Carver days? Losing every single game, and suddenly being told we've got the best manager in the league? Or him acusing players of getting sent off deliberately? Come on, it was ****ing chaos with Carver, we're not at that level yet.
Carver is a coach, put into a position he was not expecting without any time for preparation. Bruce is a manager with Premier League experience, had a pre-season to prepare, had all of last season, another pre-season, signings, and is still failing miserably. I think Carver put in a shift, had passion for the club and fought desperately to keep us up despite his limited abilities. While Bruce is a passionless no mark, who couldn't give a rats arse about the club, the fans or anything. He is negative, self-deprecating at times, happy to bumble along without progress or changing despite repeated failure. He is the worst manager this club has ever had, of that I have no doubt. McClaren had a worse side, imo, and played better football.
McClaren definitely had a better side imo - Sissoko, Winjaldum, Janmaat, Townsend, Mitro, Mbemba etc... all way better than the players we've got now, but all with huge egos, and McClaren couldn't get them playing like they gave a ****.
True, I think its easy to forget how bad we were then. That entire squad just didn't want to play for us.
Stay off the drugs lad. you post some really oddball **** at times. Pennywell can't be that bad. Seek help.
Well remembered! Have a read of Bruce's take on the game...all very familiar! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30963566
