I think Fraser has the GK slot sewn up, unless Tommy (?) Forecast is still unexpectedly available. With JWP in midfield, the team looks well-balanced

I'd be shocked if Salisu gets picked though

I have only included Walcott and Adams because I think they could really do with a goal and this is a good chance for that. You could rest Adams and start Long but I think Che needs a goal.

I'd like JWP and Armstrong to be rested, but I'm not sure we have the players to do that without fielding the youth team.

Big shame Tella and presumably Smallbone will be injured for this.

I would hope Ings would be on the bench to bring on if we need him. I don't really understand why he wasn't involved yesterday if he was asymptomatic during his isolation as reported.

Shrewsbury on the other hand haven't had a game for three weeks so will be nicely rested, and they were on a fine run of form before their covid outbreak. They'll be confident of an upset.

We have to go as strong as we can, particularly down the core of the team. If we go too many youngsters, we could be in trouble.we don’t want boys against men.
