He was almost as bad a signing as Nichola Pepe.

I read that they have to pay £6m for him in 12 transfer windows...this January is only the 4th so its for the next 8 <yikes>
Because of the payments being spread like this the whole £72m has to be paid ... no wonder they ain't selling him <laugh>
It ain't his fault but ****ing £72m <doh>

Contract terminated. So we haven’t paid his remaining 6 months.

I'd imagine Arsenal and Ozil have met in the middle somewhere and agreed to something like paying him off with 50% of the remainder of the contract, maybe a bit less seeing as he seems pretty desperate to leave.

Still tragic from Arsenal's point of view. He's still a good player, gone for absolutely nothing.

    Such a shame <rofl>

No way the Turks are paying him 350 large a week mate, so you’ll have given him a payoff and terminated the contract by mutual consent.

Talksport said they reached a compromise...big change of mind for him to just go with no pay off.

Yeah there's no way he's waiving the whole remainder, still had about £7.5m left. Most reports have said he'll forego a portion so he definitely ain't just leaving without taking a penny from them.

Probably taken around £3m and flipped them the middle finger as he walked out.

Yeah he has, I've got loads of Fener mates so they're all retweeting it, lol.

It's a great signing for them to be fair, he's still got the talent and in that sort of league he should be a game changer most weeks.

I don't think there was no pay off, but contract terminated and agreed to forgo the remainder of his wages. So I suspect there was some financial agreement made. Just pleased it's over really. That £350k contract we handed him was a big ****ing mistake.

He’s getting paid by Arsenal whilst playing in turkey

as if the contract would be terminated...he isn’t refusing to play, he’s just been excluded so why would he agree to terminate it?

from what I hear he’s getting paid sumt like 70k a week for the next 4 years coz the Goonz can’t afford the lump sum. They just taken out a 20 mill loan

Genuine question...do you think that giving Aubamayang such a huge contract at 31 will cause a similar problem?
    Obviously I hope not <whistle>

As for Ozil I think they must have paid him something so they could do a confidentiality clause in or there'd be an enormous PR dogfight played out very publicly.

These transfers are ****ing confusing... was reading about us taking out bank loans, which I thought was strange given our transfer profits ... but it's to do with timing ... City for Mahrez, United for Maguire and Chelsea for Chilwell aren't paying up front ... it's so much a year over 5 years or so ... so you take out a bank loan for a large proportion of that 'income' and then the sums subsequently received go straight to the banks to pay off the loans ... who'd of thought that City, United and the Chavs ain't actually got the readies?
