Shame. Jack has given a few away like that this evening. Not 2-0 difference. On to the cup that we’re concentrating on anyway
Gash. Hard to be too annoyed at the team though in the circumstances; mass injuries, referee assisted first goal. Concerning how poor we are at breaking teams down again though.
Here we go ... He gave the ball away, trying desperately to get the ball forward to earn an equaliser. It's the risk you take at that point in the game.
I disagree. First half in particular we were getting in behind Leicester, keeper made several good saves, we hit the bar in the second.
****, that stings a bit, but that's that's what they do. Unlucky Saints. Ref pissed me off first half, but we are going toe to toe with the best teams in the league, and we have a lot of injuries for a small squad.
So many times near the end of a match we need a goal and still twat about with it at the back. 30 seconds to go, still passing at the back. Put the ball forward please.
He also was **** on the goal. Not his best performance overall gave the ball away a few times as well. Hopefully just a one game thing
He wasn’t gash at all, but he did make a few more errors tonight than he has of late. He’s down well since coming into the team though, but tonight not a good one for him.
Agreed. Felt he started to get dragged out of position more and more in the second half but will have an easier time in upcoming matches. Overall he's done okay since coming in.
I hate loosing to Leicester!!!! Commentator just said we were slightly depleted. What the hell is he on about. We were massively depleted. Vestergaard was the MOM in the last three games he played. Romeu was out, as was Ings. Not to mention Redders and the others. They say that Leicester were professional and I get they had chances, but we hit the crossbar ffs. I think we played well and I'm glad that Crouchie just reminded people about the players we are missing. I think those that stepped in did well but we were still a weaker side
Very disappointed because there were some good performances tonight that deserved a point. One small mistake in the first half and Saints were up against it. 2nd goal was because Saints were chasing the game. The injury crisis probably cost us the game.
Great performance for the first hour but had to chase it which played into Leicester's hands. Nothing of quality to bring on from the bench to change the game.
We played okay considering 3 of our best players this season were out. If their goal is (100% correctly) ruled out due to foul on Diallo that game is a 0-0 draw and a good point at that. Very much looking forward to Ings, Romeu & Vestergaars returning.
A good performance with a lot of important players out. I still think we have a cracking player in Diallo. Unfortunately Stephens wasn't at his best tonight. Walcott was very good again, and Stu is definitely finding form too. N'Lundulu looks like he has a purpose in the squad. Oh, and it wasn't KWP's best game, but he's been pretty much solid MOTM for the past three. Not really a fair scoreline, barely a fair result (though they were a lot better in the second half). My main observation though, sad to say, I think we move Shane on in the summer.
We played well (aside from Stephens). And it's particularly nice to have good Armstrong back. But as I always suspected would happen at some point, our injuries badly caught up with us. Each sub made us that little bit weaker, and with not being able to replace Diallo until late on, he drifted out of the game rather than risk a second yellow. And now with Smallbone's injury, and Bertrand's suspension, it just keeps on raining. We badly need an extra body or two.
As Libby suggested earlier, this just shows what a fecking good coach Ralph is. I think we should make him a Director on the Board and give him some shares.
