Stuart James. Morris, who is a pacy 26-year-old winger who can also play through the middle, would represent something of a coup for Swansea if he agrees to move to the Welsh club. He has been hugely impressive in MLS, registering 24 goals and 17 assists over the 2019 and 2020 seasons, and linked with Bundesliga and Premier League clubs. Morris talked only last month about his ambition to play in Europe. “If the right European team came, or situation came, it would definitely be something that I would have to take a close look at,” he said. This would excite me Swansea, who are second in the Championship, also hope to sign Conor Hourihane on loan from Aston Villa. Hourihane has made only four Premier League appearances for Villa this season and would be seen as a replacement for Morgan Gibbs-White, who has returned to Wolves after his loan spell at Swansea was cut short.
Too much for the Yanks, they only spend money on D.C. Their first ❤️. That's the 2nd time Cardiff have signed players that we were interested in. ..... Wilson and now this guy.
Glad we didn’t , a lot of money for someone taking aside his recent form wasn’t exactly pulling up trees. both went for the money not advancement of careers
Why do Cardiff go for our targets?, we want them for our style of play and they don’t have a style. They are after the Villa lad now.
Because their club is a mess , they’ve no youth coming through the development system ,we had 7 welsh players in the squad against Stevenage. No football style or substance and obviously a piss poor recruiting system , probably on par with what any of us could do, scan the paper for the latest trends.Watter wasn’t purchased because he was scouted ,if he had been they wouldn’t have paid over the top for him, it’s probably cheaper for them to bring in a few players than it is to sack Harris and pay off his contract
If he can replicate these performances at Swansea, he will become a cult hero, and in so doing become the only American to receive anything other than insults and abuse on this site. Looking forward to seeing him in a Swans' shirt.
I was astonished when Wilson joined The Dodgers. Klopp has clearly written him off, why else would he have sent him there. Just about the last place to send him was Cardiff. He'll need psychotherapy in the not too distant future. That's Wilson, or perhaps Klopp can join him.
Wilson’s stock has fallen since his move to Cardiff , from what I’ve seen of his performances he’s either regressed or isn’t interested, either way I can’t see him being sold for anything near to what his value was at the beginning of the season. although I can understand why they went for him it’s the wrong Club for him as a player.
Wilson going to Cardiff is akin to a Cordon Bleu/Michelin Chef working in a local kebab shop. Klopp sent him to the desert without even giving him a water bottle. Playing for Cardiff will have a deleterious effect on his game.
