Alternatively, there's this young lad called Keane Lewis-Potter on the bench. Turns out he can score goals, but for some reason he doesn't start. No idea why.
We didn't lose (felt like it) because we went down to 10 men, we drew because we were wasteful on the limited chances we created and because we couldn't defend from a corner. If you go down to 10 men and get outplayed for an equaliser fair enough, but not from a set piece.
We've got to win games like this , yes the slip by Burke was unlucky but we need to finish teams off when we're on top
My argument still stands, we went down to 10 men ( first time this season isn't it ) due to a very unlucky slip and a last ditch tackle to take one for the team, up until that we dominated the game and I'm sure would have taken the 3pts. You just can't put anything across without getting angry and sewering....and I wasn't messing either Would you have taken 3rd in the league after at this point in the season if offered it before we kick a ball?
No but it justifies our form since the start of the season. Most teams below have one or two games in hand over us. Accrington have 3 games in hand!
The goal we conceded had nothing to do with the red card. It was just ****e defending at a set piece, yet again, one of our weaknesses that we never learn from. Yeah, I would've taken third at this point at the start of the season. I predicted us to be midtable. That doesn't distract from the fact there are clear issues with the side though, which you seem to be happy to ignore. What you on about? I predicted us to win in the poll, you absolute ****ing melon.
I'm not ignoring any of the issues, but no team will ever be perfect and I'd be a hell of a lot more concerned if we didn't create chances etc. Every team in this league will miss chances, every team will have a poor run of form and every team will concede a poor goal or 2. You said on a post a few mins ago a more capable manager would see us be better etc. So serious question for you, how would a different manager make the players missing the chances suddenly take them? The players are missing them not GM, the way he has us playing and set up is enabling us to create those chances. What's to say a different manager comes in and plays a different way and we create less chances and the players still miss them? Before today's game we had scored the second most in the league hadn't we? Yes we all want our players to score every single chance that's created and it's highly frustrating for us all when we don't, but unfortunately we live in the real world and we won't take them all.
I have no idea, apparently being critical means you aren't a "real fan" now and must want the team you've supported for decades to always lose.
While I thought we had the edge before the sending off I didn't feel it was particularly a story of missed chances. We didn't create that many clearcut ones. They caused us some problems with being direct all afternoon so the last 15 mins was going to be a scrap even before the sending off. Not a disaster but the overall run of 1 win in 7 is very poor. Still feel we look more like (at best) a play off team rather than top 2 and still need a better centre forward. Liked Whyte and thought that was Malik's most consistent game for some time. Nice to see a right footed right winger and a left footed left winger for a change.
I think it's more to do with the fact you come across as being happy when we don't win, almost like you want to justify your own thoughts on GM and the team etc over us doing well.....
1/7 in this League with the squad at GM's disposal is a ****ing embarrassment. But with this **** in charge nothing surprises me.
