You remind me of Andrew Lloyd Webber in that pic. You both make me wish they would get rid of piers!!
Aged 45-47. When I was 45, many assumed I was 35. Then age caught up and all hell broke loose. Within two years I went grey, hair receded grusomely, started going to the toilet twice a night, developed a turkey neck, manboobs, hairy ears and eyebrows like Brezhnev.
Nothing yet, i'm 45 but don't look it and I sure as hell don't act it and I also have the palette of a 16 year old boy! When the pubs and clubs open again I'll be smashing the **** out of it and drinking every ****er under the table half my age cos they're all a bunch of ****ing snow flakes. My kids are 21 and 19 which should make me feel old but it just makes me happy that they are now (fairly) self-sufficient and me and the missus are still young enough to reap the benefit with weekends/holidays away etc.....once COVID ****s off of course! Will be back playing 5 a side when the weather picks up now that I've shifted a fair bit of timber and i'll keep playing footy until my body tells me otherwise....nee better feeling than smashing one into the old onion bag! Pity a few of our first team can't do the same but hey ho.
never crossed my mind that I am old maybe when I look on NUFC.com 'on this day' part and remember I was at that game in 72
For me, was when I remembered sausage rolls used to be only 46p from Greggs & now seeing the younger ones having to spend a pound. Scandalous. On a serious note, definitely when I got my mortgage. A couple of year prior I was out every weekend, fast forwards that & I’m in most weekends with my fiancé learning to cook new meals. Wouldn’t change it for the world tho.
Ha ha, aye there is that. My son frequently comments that he wish he'd been born in the 60's and grew up with all the bands and music that he now finds himself listening to and wishing he could have gone to see at their gigs !! There's some decent tribute bands like to be fair but it ain't the same like, not by a long stretch!
You make a fair point lads, there are very few new bands who seem to get the limelight at the moment (though I'm sure there is loads of talent out there).
Your 26 Leo. The old ****s on this thread are hitting 80+ Schlems not older either, just irreparably damaged by alcohol. Me and you are younguns mate, future of this board.
