It's gonna be a hard choice for me as to which was better, the old sunderland board, or this place, as the decade ends. The old sunderland board was utter nuts at times, but this place has more variety, what with all different fans.
Much prefer this board, I think you always sort of have an opinion/preconception of people from different parts of the Country, supporting different teams but this board has shown me just how cool and sound people are the Country over. The Sunderland board was an extension to the old 606, it's all different now, people grow up and move on..
Don’t wanna blow my own trumpet lads but it sounds like the Sunderland board was a ****in hoot until Tel left Tbf, there was some riots over there. Remember when Saffy and Bri went full ballistic at each other and agreed to a dust up? I think Bri said he was gonna bite Saffy’s face off but they ended up getting stoned in an allotment IIRC
An every day occurence on there... It was a hoot, when it was relaxed... But i agree to some extent, this is a better board, because of the variety of fans.
It's funny that anybody would get wound up enough on here to actually want to meet up for a scrap. But meeting up and sharing a fat doob surrounded by turnips is a class way to settle it.
So 10 years today for me, and many others. Had some strange times, since we started. Met some great people, read some epic threads, read loads off **** also. Low points, both Billy (who i had the pleasure of getting wasted with several times) and Burly departing us. High point, probably meeting @Norway over in Thailand, and talking him and his missus into going into a gogo bar. First time she'd been inside one, tits and flange all ower, her face was a blast. Thread wise, probably the fight clubs, and the GC invasion of the sunderland board stand out. ****ing comical. Prem board wise, it has a great mixture, sometimes rather tame, but some very posters, a lot who have been around for years. Mind it's also got a few cock wombles.
Oh yes, I used to pretty live over there - I like the Newcastle board but it is a bit tame compared to how the Sunderland board was, I think I've watched bar fights that were more tame in fairness. Remember Billy?
