Mbappe is the new Robben signing for us. That Elliott lad looks useful, perhaps we could buy him and then loan him back to Blackburn.
Snowball fights are the very definition of fun. fantasising about mbappe. not so much. I would contend strange should be applied to anything thinking that kind of FM escapism is pointless.
I've never played FM - I never go in for picking team line-ups or claiming to know whom we should buy. I've never considered myself more than a passive observer, with no active influence (apart from being a small component of the crowd at a game). This is one reason why I take a more philosophical view than some when things don't work out as I'd hoped. Passive observer is my preferred position at snowball fights as well these days.
i was worried you'd be the sort to put stones in the snowballs. Now I have to saw a snowball fight is great fun. We had a righ good one in Germany once with a yank acting as gunner and we bombarded ze germans! hey thought they were hell hard walking down to the restaurant and we drove a van with a side opening door, absolutely pelted them. the Germans put stones in the snowballs and waited for us to park up. total ****s.
Liverpool have reportedly held talks with clubs from Germany, Belgium and Switzerland over an apparent loan deal of young centre-half Sepp van den Berg. According to the reliable Neil Jones of GOAL, the Premier League champions are keen on the 19-year-old picking up first-team experience for the future.
Looks like nobody has enough money to do very much this window. 13 days in and all thats happened is ManU buying that Diallo kid which was already mostly arranged, and they've offset some of by selling Fosu-Mensah. I don't expect much from anyone
Leverkusen got the fonz for only 1.5mil. Can't lose at that. When he made his debut he was "alright" for a manc **** that is.
Whatever happens will happen in the last few days but I agree, given the millions of lost revenue in the footballing world, only a small number of clubs can afford to spend. I suspect that there’ll be quite a number of loan deals.
They’re looking to get their money back....which suggests he’s not worth that. Don’t know much about him and have never seen him play...when did he leave Brazil?
Militao is not a long term option for us because he's only ok at CB and we have Trent at RB. But to give us a body until the end of the season and also cover Trent, it could be a shrewd signing. However, he would be on big money so we would need Real to cover his most or some of his wages.
Apparently we are not going to get anyone this window unless klopp can convince someone on high that we won't even get 4th if we don't wake the hell up on the militao thing. it comes from an mbappe war chest rumour that real are going to sell about 6 players, bale included etc to free up the wages and transfer funds to go get the guy. We know who liverpool have actually enquired about so far and this guy is not one of the two.
Surprised we maybe having gone loan route for someone. I know klopp doesn’t want short term fix but surely has to realise that a loan to fill a short term gap when our only fit senior CB is Matip who is injured makes sense right now. Tomori is available from chelsea although can’t see them letting him come to us but someone like that could do well for 6 months.
Klopp to sign Arsenal defender?? https://www.anfieldwatch.co.uk/fabr...-offered-the-chance-to-sign-arsenal-defender/
The Echo confirmed that we like Ben White and have been scouting him for a while. He could very well develop into a great defender but his aerial ability is really poor. Worse than Gomez, and Gomez is our worst CB aerially.
He’s played centre mid a lot this season for brighton. His strength is definitely positioning and passing rather than aerially so can see maybe developing into that role rather than at CB as he’s not the biggest.
