He's after all his money mate he wants out and he wants this deal because he knows its the only time he's getting that figure
Nah just kidding. The arbitration in my opinion is to initially arrive at a decision. Which if it falls in favour of MA then he moves onto the next step. Because I don’t think PIF are still at the table (that’s just my opinion it’s not factual or based on anything) the next step is to then bring legal proceedings to the PL for loss of value. I appreciate people are saying Fatima is involved but that’s to strengthen the case. It does not indicate that PIF are still willing buyers.
Fair enough but ask yourself why Ashley would pay many millions to win the right to sell if he wasn't told by pif they'd go ahead if he won?
I don’t deny he wants out and I also agree he wants his money. But I personally don’t think PIF are still at the table. Anyhoo it’s all going down one way or another and I genuinely think there is change coming soon. But what it is or who it will be who knows.
I think about that all the time. And my own conclusion is for him to claim losses. He can’t lose if the arbitration proves the PL where wrong. He was due to make 300m (350m maybe) so if he accepts 250m from someone else he claims the balance in legals because he had that offer and deal on a plate. The only thing stopping it was the PL. Hence my theory is for his own financial position. You have said he doesn’t give a flying **** about the club and your quite right. As long as he gets his 300m he won’t give a damn who it is going too.
Kennedy reckons he's rebuffed a "high volume" of interest in the club. We're either stuck with him for longer than we thought. or most of the interest is very "Midhat", or the legal situation is the fastest way out. We can only pray it's the latter.
He wants this deal qbd it's quite clear to me he wouldn't be messing around paying millions and knocking back others if he didnt think he was going to win.
I think this is a very real possibility. Arbitration for me is purely about Ashley's pocket. I think the ITK journo's and their PIF claims get their info from Staveley, but I don't think she's overly forthcoming with the truth sometimes.
There’s some saying that if the Arb falls in MA favour and that PIF would come BACK to the table. But there is no guarantee. Quite simply the Arb needs addressed ASAP.
Aribtration relating to 'proposed takeover. Not failed. All but confirmed that arbitration is to force through the takeover...
Masters says that he can't discuss the case due to legal confidentiality. Most of the letter is about the money that goes to the EFL. At the end Masters discusses arbitration and refers to the 'proposed takeover of Newcastle United. He does not use the word failed. His use of language suggests that arbitration is to try and resolve this in a timely manner. PIF has not walked away.
Someone on a different forum reckons arbitration is either ongoing or imminent for a resolution and the arbitration bored isn’t as unfavourable as you would expect.
