They cannot stop support bubbles, as they are what they support bubbles. How would they police 1 time a week, I am 2 mins from the downs and on any day there is 20 or people wandering around. I could go out on Monday wearing pink and a head scarf, Tuesday wearing green and a bobble hat, etc etc. Of course if they banned it I would comply, almost, maybe go twice or every 2 days. I go on my own anyway, avoid others by at least 4 or 5 metres or take a different path.

Did you not see the footballers of Crawley & Chorley celebrating their cup wins in the dressing rooms over the weekend....social distancing among this deadly virus? Yeah right.

Plenty of non essential work being carried out across the nation? That's ok then!!

Anti vaxxers do not spread the virus any more than anyone else. The one's that will get it last are those that spread it the most!!
If you've had the vaccine RP you should feel safe....you've made your choice I will continue with mine!!
Whitty, is he the guy that predicted 4000 daily deaths back in November? Yeah I trust his judgement!! <laugh>

If we were having our usual banter I'd be mentioning educating pork.
    But this far more serious.
Words fail me in a response to your point of view.

Nope he predicted 40,000 daily infections. If we locked down, which we never really maintained the 1 month lock down. We’ve surpassed that figure so if he was out it was too low of a prediction.

got back off my walk … windy and wet not really cold just in time for the 5pm update... however met a fellow bird / nature lover... SD observed 3m+ chatted and he brought to my attention a lot of birds are dying from salmonella poisoning! … I know not football or covid .. but we discussed reasons possibly why, and one point was that a lot of fat balls and fat ball pellets / stuff has meal worms and things in it … an awful lot comes from china!!!! and we have seen how unhygienic they can be!!! ..... not suggesting covid links .. but often bird feeders just get topped up and residue left in bottom … should you be kind to birds and feed them, please every week or less, clean out the feeders of the decaying residue … to be safe.

I mentioned earlier on another thread that my son works for the police in their Devizes 999 call centre.
He is really enjoying his job, but he is shocked at the number of suicides that come in each day - this is a tragedy in itself, but what shocked me is that he told me all the suicides that are reported now are registered as Covid deaths.
I find that hard to believe, but he swears it's true - and he works there. If that's being replicated throughout the country then it will be distorting the figures.
I'm NOT trivialising the disease, but the stats should be accurate, not distorted. They should show who has died of, or as a direct result of Covid, not who has killed themselves during a pandemic, or died of something else when showing as Covid-positive.
This type of thing just gives fuel and ammunition to the Covid-sceptics.

They only report the death with a positive test in the past 28 days. So I think he may be getting told that but not really true. I would think they want the deaths through Covid lower not higher as that would make our future students looking back in history thinking that the current government was rubbish.

This is nothing new. This type of distorted reporting has only been done with Covid. no other virus ...The figures reported have never been accurate from when this begun.

Mate I don't agree with you on Covid19 but some of your points have made me think, I like our freedoms and they are being diminished, I love choice of thought and they have gone, I live by my right to make my own choices and that I do, you also have the same choices, your own opinions, keep believing in your rights and stating them, some of us are listening.

We all make our own decisions and choices, please don't sneeze on me if we shop at some time in the same premises, I will be in a face shield and observing all the rules to minimise the risks, that is my choice but please do retain your own opinions, in fact I know you will.

Friend of mine, put a status up days ago saying anyone disbelieve’s Covid to come and give him a hug. Monday updated his status saying he feels through the worse and the freezing cold to changing his clothes due to sopping wet with sweat are getting further apart, but still a struggle to breathe. Yesterday rushed to hospital, and he is as strong as an ox so everyone though the day before update was him fighting it off.
So stay safe everyone, you may not believe the reporting and numbers and yes people do get through it with mild symptoms a lot more than the ones needing hospital.
So please don’t take risk to become one of the ones to get it bad.

Honesty is all I'm asking, not figures/statistics plucked out of the air to warrant lockdowns, job losses, failing businesses, other health, mental and life threatening illnesses.

BBC, LBC, & Piers Morgans scaremongering tabloid coverage of all of this is aimed at the current governments measures & policies as was with Brexit.
The government IMO have been forced into a corner with all of this, fearing the possible backlash as witnessed in the Blairs government over the illegal Iraq war.

Honesty of actual Covid deaths, of Covid not with Covid. I'm not sure but I think most of us agree that most people with a positive Covid test will have mild or no symptoms. Majority of people that go on to become very ill or worse will or would have had other underlying health issues. So IMO the reporting and registering of deaths should reflect such details.

Because of the lack of honesty regarding this virus gives me good reason to believe there is more to this, the ability to control a nation/nations with ease IMO is a deeper concern....but like the mentioned Iraq war the real truth is years away if ever at all!!

I agree with you about the compilation of figures, from day 1 the numbers were compiled against the advice of the WHO, they have added anybody who dies within a week of a positive test, whether they died in an accident or of another underlying medical condition and that is clearly nonsense.

But I sincerely hope that once most sensible people have been vaccinated (and I do not know whether the vaccine is going to bring any sort of end to this misery, but it is certainly our best hope as things stand) and as we return to a modicum of normality that hopefully Ashton Gate, shops, pubs and restaurants etc. will ban people who refused to have the vaccine, even if it has to be enshrined in law.
