In the end its just another gutless loss this... Took off attacking players and never really had a go..... Too happy to lose by a narrow margin .. Bruce looks after himself imo

I knew as soon as we scraped a draw with 5-4-1 vs Liverpool we'd play this formation time and time and time again. He won't change it until, as usual, it's too late.

Mate, Bruce doesn't understand anything. He continuously plays 2 in the middle, where we are always overrun and cannot transition, and plays both full backs and wide midfielders yet we never produce a cross. He cannot start a game without at least 3 out of position.

You've never seen football with less direction or purpose than NUFC. We had a bit of the ball today and genuinely looked confused at the prospect, eventually just giving up because all we know is defending in numbers. It's the ****test NUFC I've ever seen since 1992, including both relegation squads, and the football is simply non-existent.

Dirge doesn't come close.

I think if Bruce had thrown the kitchen sink at them last 20 we'd have won that... He took two attackers off put one on and a defender... I defended him in the league, but come on being happy to lose by one or two in cups is a sign he's all put for himself

 

Again, you were the one saying it's not worth trying in the cups. Bruce deserves criticism but he can't win with you no matter what he does.
