You'd expect them to be as they're a Premier League side and we're slightly above League 1 standard.....
Bonne & Dykes’ misses are unforgivable for professionals - at least hit the ****ing target you caaaahnts. That’s all you have to practice all week
I actually think we mainly play good football, but we can't score or defend. So Warburton needs to go back to making bread and give someone else a chance, or I fear it will be League 1 next year.
Well yeah, obviously, which perversely delights certain punters who would normally spend their Saturday moaning about the number of people in the garden centre or something but just saying today he’s set the team up quite well and we’ve created more than enough while restricting them to not a lot at all for 104 minutes. Chances are he’ll be gone after next week but not because of today.
I think the term 'top quality premier league opposition' is stretching it a bit on today's evidence. As I said earlier you can see why both sides face relegation battles. We are what we are, basically a 'Poundland' Championship side...
I'm sure he can still get a few Goals, but joining such a poor team with a clueless manager must surely concern him if he wants to use us a career springboard.
I didn't watch any of the 90 minutes, but looking at the subs made, and the way we've played in extra time, why didn't we just let them score in the 90th and be done with it. Chair, BOS and Carroll off is as good as giving up. Luton and Wycombe up next, and I reckon Warburton will need at least four points to still be in the job come next Saturday evening.
Some still protesting that we're playing some good stuff and that Warburton can't be blamed, even though he brought in the likes of Dykes and Bonne and thinks 'Toddy' is top class. ****'s sake.
For the 90 minutes we competed with them......defence and midfield were ok but when you can't score you're not going to win and both Bonne and Dykes don't or can't score then you're in trouble....... Barbet and Dickie didn't look out of place out there, Chair & Carroll were composed on the ball, I do wish Chair & BOS would get to the byeline more as they did last season, but boy those missed chances were straight off the Scrubs Sunday League games........ They were no great shakes and the finishing was as bad as ours, but the 2 bits of quality in front of goal decided the game...... Not going to get hung up on this as Tuesday's game is far more important.......
Lots of good play from Rangers but toothless again up front and if you don’t score etc etc.. Warburton stats are beyond bad.
I doubt anyone thinks Kane is top class or Warburton can’t be blamed. How much of the recruitment is down to him? I honestly don’t know. Clearly it’s a big problem but I’m not sure that one is much down to him.
