You are right Flanders and I apologise. I was tagged into a post on Friday and this is the first chance I have had to respond.

 

I had nothing to do with your argument on Thursday evening and yet, on Friday, in your fit of pique you tagged me out of the blue throwing an insult my way and expect me not to respond?

Note what isn't said - he hasn't mentioned that they were Trump supporters and, as the Trump camp have already rolled out the line that it was ANTIFA and BLM agents provocateur who broke in to Congress, he can take the view that he isn't referring to, and so restraining, his supporters.

 

He isn't saying it's not his supporters or contradicting the reports, he could've easily said they weren't.

Surely there's no one, on the planet, who'd claim there were none of his supporters there.

If so then there's no point in any debate anywhere.

Just to check I did a very quick look at the media.

I suppose some people would argue that this is a 'plant' set up to discredit the rioters etc etc etc.

Someone on this board claimed that it was all the doing of antifa.

You never need to go far to find these people.

 

Firstly, I would have said there was nobody on the planet who would believe that Georgia's Republicans conducted, connived at, or were duped by massive voter fraud that would mean the state voted for Trumps opponent and also replace 2 of its republican senators with democrats, thus handing control of the senate to the democrats as well as the house!

I have already seen interviews with Trump supporters from around the US that said those weren't real Trump fans. I have seen other interviews where they admit that there were some Trump supporters there, but they say those weren't the ones who broke in and did all the damage, that was all down to ANTIFA-BLM.

In light of this, yes I could well believe that Trump, publicly at least, says he believes there were none of his supporters there!

 

That doesn't mean they're not lying through their teeth ....

... nor does it mean there were no Trump supporters there.

No one can accurately say who caused the damage in a riot, it's absolutely impossible. Some people are claiming there were lots of people disguised as Trump supporters, how can they possibly tell them from the real thing?

It doesn't even matter if none of them actually did damage, just being there means you're part of a mob.

It's called riotous assembly.

As innocent people, working there, were in fear of their lives it's wrong and everyone who invaded the building were complicit in the deaths of 5 people.

That's not democracy and every single one of them should be locked up.
