People picking a side and going overboard on the demonisation of the other is certainly at play in some folks ways of thinking, as can be seen by flag wavers of all persuasions. My own experience tells me I'll encounter decent people who were of the right or of the left politically and also complete arseholes who were of the right or the left politically. One thing that does need to happen in a democracy is everyone, and I do mean everyone, needs to be cool and not hoy toys out the pram if they find themselves on the losing side of the vote. That does no-one any favours.
instead of leaving well alone till the truth comes out they jump in with both feet without the full facts, if they were that interested in the truth they would check it themselves instead of media that is totally bias, but im going to enjoy laughing at the Dems in office when they get their noses in the trough again send the jobs back again to China BIDENS ARE SO CORRUPT WATCH THE VID OF THEM CHEATING GO MISSING
Anybody with a brain surely understands that his constant chopping and changing and delayed actions have been a disaster for covid deaths. Then we go onto his handling of Brexit with no deal until thousands of manufacturing jobs transferred abroad, including the new electric Nissan car.. He and his government have been an unmitigated disaster in the eyes of any reasonable people.
What a load of bollocks We all make mistakes, and it doesn't matter that the government have been fighting an impossible battle, with no historical precedent, 'cos they still should have known better, eh . . . . like all members of the Labour Party do/did please log in to view this image Why didn't we just ask them to sort it out ? Fortunately, at the moment they are generally an irrelevance, who can not make things worse, despite their efforts to do just that please log in to view this image Unity and constructive criticism would have been good throughout this worldwide problem, that no country has 'mastered' successfully yet, but we've had none of that, especially from the idiotic Starmer Hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn't it The main problem has been created by all of those selfish arseholes who put all of our lives at risk with their attitude of 'I will do as I like and sod the rules.'
What a load of bollocks. Acts too slow (business and schools cannot respond to the last minute policy) and u-turns too often (more for political reasons than logic evidence ones).
What’s it got to do with Labour Gordon? The Conservatives have an 86 seat majority and can just about get anything they like through the Commons. Labour have no impact on the decision making process whatsoever. Whataboutery is an inane schoolyard argument, pure conjecture with no basis in truth and only deflects from the Government’s (mis)handling of the crisis.
Although in the past I gave Trump a bit of slack, after his role in this attempt at stopping the Democratic will of the American people, I've totally turned on him and reorganise what a dangerous narcissist that he is. I firmly believe that he should be removed from power immediately and a multitude of charges should be brought against him. I'll let people more qualified than me decide what the charges should be.
The reference to labour, Monty, is because they, and Starmer in particular, have constantly criticised without being in any way constructive, and are trying to make a very serious situation worse
Starmer has been extremely supportive and have failed in holding the Govt to account. Labour is actively losing members over this. BORIS has repeatedly and publicly referenced in the commons the oposition's support. You're making it up now Gordon.
Ha ha That's the way that I've viewed his comments, Brian . . . . mind I haven't listened to him for months 'cos after a while I realised that I just couldn't any more
It's whataboutery Gordon and just gives a Johnson a get out of jail card. What would you expect Starmer to do? it's how the House of Commons works, the opposition hold the government to account and question their actions. Incidentally his firebreak idea has subsequently been implemented by the government despite them saying that it wouldn't work so he is doing something right.
Mate, Labour are voting with the Tories at present mate on everyhing Corona related. It's there in the voting records. It's there in the commons recordings. It's a collective trainwreak.
Is it just me who thinks that any rioters during BLM marches are twats and the people who 'invaded' the government building in Washington causing damage are the same?
As I said, I find it very difficult to listen to Starmer, and I didn't know that Labour were working with the government now, rather than against them trying to sort out this pandemic, Brian
Starmer has often given sound advice that was not heeded until too late. The latest lockdown and closures of schools just being the latest prime examples.
