There are people claiming that the virus is a hoax perpetrated by the government to restrict their civil liberties or whatever. They're entitled to their opinion as all conspiracy theorists are. I'm not one for endless laws to govern, but I'd be quite happy to see legislation for people refusing to have the vaccine. I'd ask them to sign a disclaimer saying that if they won't agree to be vaccinated they won't be automatically entitled to NHS treatment if they contract the virus ... ... if they're so convinced, that the virus is a hoax, I'd expect that they'd be happy to stand by their principles and sign.
If you want to live in society you need to accept laws that lawmakers set to protect the society. Simple as that. Anti vaxxers should go live in Greenland.
People like these always use the same old line, no matter what their cause. "You're being conned by the media, you should take the time to look for the real facts." These 'real facts' inevitably come from some raging loon sitting in his bedroom who uses actual media reports whenever it suits his theory. As you say, if they're so disparaging of society they should go and start their own ... ... far far away.
As you say , they never seem to have any facts. For fun , I have on facebook replied to people claiming hoax/ conspiracy saying I’m a bit behind on whats going on , can they educate me by answering questions like “ how did the govt get 150000 doctors and 330000 nurses to go along with the hoax “ or. “ where and when did 200 govts have a world meeting and manage to agree to this and keep the meeting secret “. Try out your own similar questions . You dont get answers .
Ask them if seeing as it's a hoax, could they kindly volunteer at the covid ward. Seeing as it's so busy there's no PPE available bit that shouldn'tr worry them too much
