I would be very happy with this as he scores goals everywhere. Glenn Murray in talks to swap Watford loan to Queens Park Rangers https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...WfMSIDs-xO7x1e5Je9TImueeCzrdwW5VV3AFcV56yrmb8
Get him in and play him. I will bet the £1 I owe Watford that he scores loads of goals for us. Strong in the air, controlling and is always in the right place like all good strikers. Well happy if we get him.
Two goals scored in the last season and a half.....don't expect an avalanche of goals to start pouring in
Absolutely, always thought he was great at diving and cheating but if he's going to sign for us I'll change my outlook
I expect Kelman will go on loan somewhere and get a few games if Murray is done. If he can be arsed with it it’s a very sensible signing.
Cant see Glenn Murray being the answer to our problems, they stem much further than a 37 year old striker. Might be useful from the bench for 15 minutes a game, by which time will be too late! He would certainly need some young legs up there in support of him. Ah well, I suppose it's where we shop nowadays, he will get my support either way.
I get a sense of dejavu with the possibility of this signing. Takes me back to Holloway and 25 wingers at the club yet not playing widemen. Warbs doesnt know his best set up yet and has generally started with one striker. Dykes, who needs it on a six pence, Bonne, yet to understand offside, and Kellman yet to be given a sniff. Add Murray in the mix, and we have some real competition!
I won't knock Murray. I will wait and see what he is like first. I remember posts on here Clint 'over the Hill'. Derry 'sh2t slow and past it'. Austin 'Always injured'.
I wont knock him either, I'm knocking the signing of him by the club. I suppose we are extremely desperate and that calls for anything!
Pinning our hopes on a 37 year old who can't get a game at his parent club and can't get a game from his loan club..God were in the S***
I guess the positive way of looking at it is that neither Bonne nor Dykes would get a look in at those clubs either. The fact that he was at those clubs in the first place indicates he might have more quality than Dykes and Bonne. But he is bloody 37!
