Mostly lower than that as many of the better u23s were training with first team so aren't available.

Fingers crossed for the second half, but given Liverpool’s attacking players, plus what they have on the bench, things could get tough for Villa as they tire.

 

Don’t think he is related. I remember reading something about him a while back though as he had just joined Barca and was talked about as a very bright prospect.

 

Just done a search and have seen claims that he is and isn’t related to Gareth.
Started at WBA, spent some time at Barca, then joined Villa.
He took his goal really well.
I liked how he got his body between the CB and the ball to either deter a challenge or draw a red card.

 

Just loved the way the commentators bigged up Thiago as such a “wonderful player with the vision to unlock a defence”. Did ok against a bunch of kids, but not quite so well when he was up against a (let’s face it - slightly under strength) proper premier league team!

Not sure about this FA cup. It is really disappointing that fans cannot go to the Third Round ties because it is so dangerous. I have always felt that 3rd Round weekend is one of the best weeks in the football calendar. It is an opportunity to see Saints play non-Premier League teams but also offers the chance to witness upsets.

Not happy with 4th and 5th round ties being drawn at the same time. I suppose that this is in preparation for Coronavirus measures.
