If it was a mistake how can he have no regrets? I'm honestly beginning to think that there may just be something wrong with that boy. Just look at the picture above with him sitting at the bus-stop. He looks like a bit of a dim-wit. I'm convinced he's not all there upstairs and that's why COLIN treats him like a child.
You can get Tarbs to say anything in the heat of the moment and even sometimes when he's not angry. The lad has no censorship between brain and mouth and calls it as he sees it (albeit usually calmly). If he says the same thing 3 times running then I might give it a bit of credibility.
Yeah he is a bit special when it comes to his mentality.....a bit like after our Championship winning win at Watford last season, when he is in the changing room punching the roof in, while Colin is staring at him.....he then tells him off and Tarbs replies "it wasnt me, it was like this". Guy is dumb as you can get.....techinically gifted, mentally ******ed.
he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and is about as bright as a 40 watt bulb, but he can play football if he gets his finger out and does the biz till January he will either get his rise or the move he desires, win/win
IF this is true (and I have my doubts), he can **** off. He is NOT bigger than the club, nor is he performing at a good enough level. His performances in the Premiership have shown him to be a good (not brilliant) player at this level, but unless he improves vastly, I can see him being dropped rather than increasing his value. As I said, the chances are that as it was printed in the Sun it is probably bullshit. I am more likely to believe it if it was printed in Shefford Newsline!!!!
He's a footballer as defined by the Oxford English Dictionary: "A thoughtless, greedy, selfish, double-crossing, attention-seeking half-wit without morals."
TAARABT REVEALS TRUTH BEHIND BUS STOP DRAMA Adel Taarabt has revealed exactly what happened to him when substituted at half time in QPR's 6-0 trouncing at Fulham. "I said to the gaffer at half-time the system wasn't working. Let's go 4-4-2 - I said I'd gladly make way for Tommy Smith. So he substituted me and I had no complaints, it was best for the team as 4-5-1 was pissing ****. "Then I realised I'd forgotten to set my VCR for Songs Of Praise. It was a special edition celebrating 50 years of the programme and I didn't want to miss it. I take my religion very seriously. So I asked if I could leave early, and Neil said that wasn't a problem. I couldn't hang around after the game like I usually do anyway for autographs, pictures etc, as I had tickets to see Storm Lee in concert at the O2. "So, I summoned my pilot to pick me up early in my private jet, but I was told some prick had nicked it and flown it into a ferris wheel in south Wales. "I couldn't get a taxi so I made my way to the nearest bus stop - I hadn't been on a bus since I was 13, when me and some mates used to go on Red Bus Rovers. "When I reached the bus stop, I couldn't believe what I saw. There were some QPR fans there and I asked them why they weren't at the game. They said they left when it was 4-0 and I went into one. What price loyalty? I said I've never given less than 75% for QPR - the fans should do the same, support the club for 90 minutes. "It all got a bit heated. Then one of the fans pulled down my shorts and took a picture of my arse. I see it's now on the internet, bastards. "All I want to do is be a QPR legend, like Stan Bowles. I've met him a few times and he's given me some very good advice."
Is anyone really surprised by this? First he asks for a new contract, then he says he wants a move for financial reasons. After he was subbed at half time. I'm going to put this one down as further posturing for more money, especially as Baeton's on something north of 60k per week. I'd be happy to give him more if he keeps up his form between now and Christmas, as I think he's looked good for us in the Prem. But if NW and co don't think he's worth it then let someone else pay their money and take the ride.....
If he wants to go, let him. I am tired of him throwing his toys out of the pram every week. The guys who have come in during the transfer window are proven Premiership players and have a right to be earning what they do. Taarabat is not a proven Premiership player having played just over a handful of games at that level. If he plays consistently well at Premiership level then, maybe, it will be time to reconsider his contract but until then, he needs to prove himself.
Who would want him? Leicester for starters.......not that he would want to go there of course. But you bet they'd wave the almighty cheque book at him.....
It's strange that every time he is with Morocco some new seemingly damning quote emerges. Why would the Sun even have a reporter anywhere near the Morocco training camp? This is undoubtedly 3rd or 4th hand, will have gone through several translations and probably started out as something like "Yes, I would leave QPR in the January window if I was offered more money". That would be true of the vast majority of professional players.
Blimey...a lot of you really don't like Adel eh? Ever considered that things don't come across very well in translation? Ever considered that interviewers try to get someone like him to say the wrong thing? I love watching him play and, like I've said before, a lot of you wouldn't have wanted Stan Bowles here either!! I am quite amazed at the abuse he receives on here and I can't help but wonder why?
All very well saying sell him but he's still our best and most creative player. Also the small matter of the sell on clause, something silly like 50% isn't it? That wily little rat Levy.
