When you get tired of FM2021 this is the next game to obviously spend a few hours on. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1302800/Chair_Fcking_Simulator/
I can never get into it unless I'm Liverpool tbh. Same when I used to play games like fifa and pro evo too. Saints have a decent side to work with in this version I'd say
I'll use West Ham now and again, but usually go for L2/conf teams with a decent sized ground and work my way up. PES, always standard master league team. FIFA, **** that ****.
Put me off getting it by saying it was a smaller version of the full game. I’m an all or nothing type of Hussla.
My favourite games back with FM2011and similar era was to do what I called the "Chelsea strategy"... I'd take a lower league team, rename them "[Milk]pool" (not milk, but my real name, which surprisingly isn't Milk irl). Then I'd give them $300mill and see how long it would take them to rise to the top. ($300mill was the amount Jose spent to win the league with Chelsea... Which at the time was a lot of money). I'd usually go up divisions back to back for a few years but it would slow down as I reached the Premier League. It would take about 6 years for me to go from nobodies to PL champs with $300mill initial investment and establish myself as a top team. At that point, in those earlier games you could make a huge profit buying all the best youngsters for under $1mill and selling them for mega millions later... Newer FM games has made youngsters much more expensive so can't exploit them as easy. $300million is nothing nowadays of course, it would take more than that to take a league 2 team to the top of the premier league.
I like it. My plan is to keep winning **** until I get loads of rope then gradually get ****ter as I sell/lose klopps squad & make my own And 300m is nothing these days, they gave me 160m to play with in the summer, only spend 70 of it
I love FM but only buy it every few years. Loved CM4 (2002) and FM12. Nowadays I'm more likely to play as Sunderland as its more interesting getting them promoted and if I play as Newcastle I always struggle to play without cheating a bit ( making other teams buy my players I no longer want)
Last time I played (PC) I had two managers. My real manager... And my Man Utd manager. My Man Utd manager would mark all the best players as transfer listed, buy random dross, set tactics to 8-1-1 formation (with midfield and defender both playing on left wing)... Then I'd go on permanent holiday until I got sacked at which point he would retire and I'd hire a new manager to sabotage them. Part of the fun of Football Manager is having that second manager account to sabotage your rivals with... Someone did this in real life when they gave United Moyes.
Actually... It wasn't 8-1-1 exactly, I don't think it let me do that... But it was all front and left wing... Nothing down the right or defence besides one guy. I tried doing the opposite... All defence and no attack, but surprisingly they won a few matches when I did that.
Yeah, I put everyone out of position as much as possible... But you can't count on that when you set the manager to go on holiday. If the AI subs a player, or a player is injured so it doesn't use your default team, the AI is going to try picking the strongest replacement. If Rashford is injured, you don't want them putting De Gea in goal.
