They're not, they were stopped in December - 'direct flights from South Africa have been suspended. Visitors arriving into the UK who have been in or transited through South Africa in the previous 10 days will not be permitted entry'.
Very true- but you can just go via Dubai or another hub. It’s then relying on them to self isolate.....not all are following the rules
If you've been in South Africa in the previous ten days, you're not allowed in, so unless people managed to get through South Africa without getting their passport stamped, they'll be prevented from entering.
anyone who's had it the rough guide of thumb is 3 months immunity im wondering if different strains might complicate that? wifes covid ward at hri still full and short staffed and new years day they had someone detoxing abusing and hitting nurses. nice job innit.
yeah this one is called covid-19 according to the positive test i was just wondering if the normal flu vaccine had any effect at all as im getting exactly the same symptoms as with normal flu in the same order. who knows i might have normal flu and covid. there's an awful lot of unknowns atm
Thats good news as my father in law has had his first jab but hadn't heard anything since. Lives in Brough.
They had the first one 3 weeks ago Chillo... I was expecting as had been reported the second would be delayed. Hopefully your Dad gets his second soon. They did get their secondary appointment almost immediately after the first one...
Had a phone call from a friend, having her second jab tomorrow, but only received the text an hour or so ago informing her. Putting 2+2 and coming up with speculation, it seems all those that have had the first jab, are due to get the follow up? Maybe?
yup 2nd injection thursday evening he was given the date for his second jab when he got his first. id got mixed up because there was a rumour saying they were delaying the second jabs until all the first had been done - but he hadn't heard anything. obviously not the case. so its all good. however he's got flu!!!
