As I am on Dry Jan (Have I mentioned that yet lol), so glass of wine, but a celebratory marmite on toast. #LivingTheDream
He ignored a couple of dodgy tackles on Tella, but nothing he did was critical, he certainly wasn't allowing the Scouse players to bully him in to decisions 8/10 I think.
Yeah but there wasn't a foul in there that warranted a 2nd yellow tbf. He did have a word so I think he was close to a second yellow.
I thought he was a homer Don’t get many of them down here, but yes he was good. He wasn’t as fussy as some refs over small contacts having to be given as a free kick one way or the other. Although I did shout at him for allowing Liverpool to take that very late corner, when he should have already ended the game.
I think Fats said he was on a final warning, and he didn’t commit another one after that so fair enough. Anyway, Klopp would have had an excuse for losing if he’d gone off!
Feels good knowing we've got a cup match next. I've heard we might put some of the under 9's on the bench for that one.
Can I say a special shout out to Valery. Looked really good when he came on - albeit a bit further up the park than we are used to...maybe we have a new winger.
When Jason Puncheon Ran off to do a poo We never dreamed that we’d end up with N’Lundulu N’lundu, Lundu , Lundulu, Lundulu, Lundulu
I thought the same, he’s always been better going forward than defending. Needs to work on his finishing though.
