Exactly this Doc, might I add that the bottom 4 are winless in their last 5 games. Between them they have won 5 games! We have already won 7. No need to panic, let's just enjoy the ride.
Re. the Crawley game, is Forshaw going to be fit? Big surprise if he is, imo. I think there's a few more options at the back to explore. I'd personally play KP in his normal position before his little holiday. With him there to cover the back, we could risk 2 u23 CBs, or just the 1 alongside Struijk or Ayling. Can't wait to see who he picks as FBs. It would be nice for Drameh to get a run out, & our u23 striking duo, but there's a danger that our team ethic might be strained beyond breaking point. Excited to see what the lineup will be.
Ok Rich, just to set the tone, I am not calling you out at all. As you know, we have agreed on here and we have clashed on here but we have also had decent conversations about things “off forum”. Because it is you, it is easier to raise than with some I know nothing about. The age old “plastic” debate! I see people who spend a large percentage of their waking hours on here say things like “just got in from shopping with the wife and thought I would check the score”, honestly it bemuses me. Forget the cost and time for the likes of Shaks and Eire dedicating a weekend and a chunk of the family housekeeping coming to ER, their dedication is unquestionable. If I lived in Aus like Eric might do, one game a year would be akin to a family holiday. But, if I had any opportunity to watch Leeds everything else, weddings and funerals etc (and I kid you not) would go by the wayside. Now, some might say, and probably correctly, that makes me a sad fecker but then, what is the point jumping on the Internet professing your love of Leeds to total strangers if you can’t even be bothered to watch? If I took my lack of time for Leeds Lover as an example, I scratched my remaining hair many times about his vociferous criticism of owners lack of investment and players inability when I know he never put a sheckle in the club or turned up to cheer those players on to improve. Of course everyone’s circumstances are different and not everyone is fortunate enough to get to ER (in fact no one right now) or away games but I can’t fathom missing watching when the opportunity is there and then professing ones love or having a critical opinion when, basically, you can’t be bothered to even watch! As I said, genuinely not a dig, just a head scratcher for me
Is it just me that's thinking that Klick's performances have dipped since Rodrigo started playing alongside him?
Don't know if its because of Rodrigo, but its definitely dipped since Bielsa said he could walk into any team in the world, or words to that effect, i'll stand corrected.
I was working mate, I’m allowed to do deliveries under Tier 4 although I was moving someone’s belongings into storage and as the wife runs a hair salon that’s been told to close for the second time in under a month I’m having to put earning the pennies first BTW if it had been on Sky I’d have recorded it and avoided the result, I have an Android box that shows all live games but I can’t record them.
I got where you were coming from, I didn’t mind the question I don’t understand myself why people like watching the games on Ellands live stream links, I’m not asking anyone to explain why and I’m going to assume financial. I pay £40 a year for my Android box, I take it on holiday, I watch the games that are broadcast on BT Sport on it but I still pay an extortionate amount to Sky every month so that I can watch the Leeds games (and other sport) in Ultra HD. Some might think I’m mad but I enjoy watching my sport and I couldn’t stand the thought of missing goals when a link goes down or trying to watch it on a PC or iPad but that’s just me.
I know it’s not really relevant to this thread but I’d like to see quite a few of the 23s involved at Crawley. It will test where they are in their development and help Bielsa assess where they are to see if they’re close enough to be getting into the PL squad. I’d like to see a starting 11 of Kiko, Drameh, Casey, Cresswell, Huggins, Phillips, Poveda, Hernandez, Shackleton, Costa and either Greenwood or Gelhardt up front.
For me this match would be ideal to see Casey and Cresswell as our future CB partnership, I would also like to see how Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt get on against league players. These 4 backed by Poveda, Costa, Struijk as DM, Alioski more practice at LB
Both of those two up front guys would offer more than that waste of money Rodrigo. But bielsa will not consider them as he is rigid in his tactics. Poveda is not better than both of them but he will not give them a chance.
