Comfortable enough in the end but not very convincing, room for improvement.

Comfortable performance but still not there. First half was bollocks yet again. Team still has another one or two gears though and really need to start being clinical.

Charlton almost defeated themselves - we didn't have to be here. We stayed professional while they imploded.

Won at a canter, without being outstanding.
Should have been comfortable but Tom "Cows r's with a Banjo" Eaves demonstrated that we need a striker in Jan.

    PL loanee methinks.....

Yeah, Charlton weren't very good were they?

I agree, there are more gears for us to go through before we hit the top of our game, I'm hoping we get there before the end of the season because we'll start pasting teams if we do.

We've missed Honeyman, though you can tell he's not quite fit yet as he looked a bit rusty. KLP needs to be starting, as soon as he came on we looked a hell of a lot better. Unfortunate on Eaves, still think he does more than Magennis does, it's just a shame that what he does more isn't score goals. There'll be a striker coming in in January, so he needs to start scoring soon.

Wigan next, giving away goals for fun, can't keep a clean sheet to save their life and overall having a **** time of it. So, you know what comes next...

Just seen the kick for the sending off, **** me, there's barely anything in it, technically, yeah it's a red but my 4 year old kicks harder than that!

Two favourite comments on my school report cards were on the subject of Woodwork:
"In your son's situation, more a case of wouldn't work."
"Fortunately, your son waste's more time than wood."
Mother didn't think either were clever or funny. I loved both and they were both bang on!

That was back to the November City - stifling the midfield with hard running, solid defence, scoring enough goals to seal it while not looking that convincing up front.

Need to get the KLP situation sorted now, that’s be a right boost for the team.

Only caught bits of the game as the feed kept going, managed to see the last 20 minutes & that was a well worked goal. Honeyman is a class above in this team, KLP needs the contract situation sorted ASAP, those 2 will win games. We do need cover for Honeyman though, he was looking knackered before the injury & we really missed him. If he’d been out today, I think we’d have lost.

Just a mention for the commentary from Charlton & in recent weeks I’ve heard absolutely garbage biased commentators, but today the Charlton ones were very fair.

The man has eyes in the back of his head. How did he know that Doherty was running in behind him. Brilliant touch by Honey.

Oh come on, what would the fun in that be?! Bickering more entertaining than the match at times.

Not a pretty game, Charlton were pretty ****e, but we were much better with KLP on, comfortable in the end in a poor kind of way. 3 points all that matter, stop the rot, onwards & upwards, UTT.
