Let's get narrower, keep it tight and try to get another clean sheet. Hayden is suspended, so I'd go with 5-3-2.

    Darlow in nets.

    Same 3 CB's.

Yedlin/Manq one side, Ritchie/Lewis the other.

Longstaffs and Hendrick (DM) in the middle.

    Joe/Wilson up top.

They don't use width, and in an offensive sense neither do we, so leaving it light in the middle makes no sense. If it's going ok, we could sub Hendrick for Almiron, push him further as AM.

Good plan, with 13 on the pitch we might just have a chance for a draw.

Lads..I implore you to get the old prayer mats out and implore the lord to give us a 3-1 win. Not because I'm on a roll with my predictions, more because I live in Leicester and the old boiler next door to where I'm working knows I'm a Newcastle fan and she'll spread the news quicker than covid.

Won't be a draw this, Leicester rarely draw.

Either we'll get a shock win or a harsh lesson.

We dont seem to do well against Leicester normally so I am only going for the 1-0 win.

Leicester seem to have a habit of dropping points against sides they shouldn’t and they definitely shouldn’t drop any against us. It’s a good omen.

Given some of the results yesterday today’s game feels like a free hit. Might as well go for it I say.

    2-1 win

Bruce will struggle to hide his anger as VAR rules out 4 goals in the first five minutes. He will scrap his new all out attack tactics and revert back to the same old sh!te and settle for a mind numbing 3-1 win.

He’s going to set the team up exactly the same. Rodgers will have seen it coming, obviously, and set his team up to play against it, by either forcing our lot to sit deeper, or playing into space behind. He will go 3 vs our 2 cms and use space between lines to force us back constantly.

Darlow will also make a glaring error today.

My predictions are almost legendarily accurate.

Smug's put a match day thread up for us on the Mackem board under the guise of ' UK matches on TV 3rd January '

At least division 3 teams are taking an interest in us.

An easy win for us today after tiring them out by giving them 78% possession and hitting them on the break in the 97th minute. Perez will score the winner for us just for old time's sake.

he’s not obsessed... no sireeee <laugh>

I bet 90% of that thread is their coverage of our game. When you normally raid the bins you want to have a look in Harrods window at some point I suppose...
