The ref was also so so late booking united players. Bruno, Shaw and matic should have gotten early yellows which completely changed the game IMO. Ubited, Chelsea and Liverpool genuinely seem to play by different rules at times

I thought the Leeds player was outside the area when he got him. Bergwijn only had one leg in, one leg out. Then he shaked it all about.

 

He was fouled, yes. But it wasn't exactly through wonderful trickery. Just really poor defending. Hardly makes up for his shocker of a game so far.

 

Contact was right on the line for me therefore a pen.

 

That finish - finding row Z rather than the top corner - was more indicative of his game so far.

Yes but a pen was given by the on field referee this time so right call by VAR not to overturn as no clear evidence ref got it wrong.

 

It says everything about Leeds that on the one hand I could see them coming back here, and on the other hand I could see Spurs turning this into 5 or 6.
