It'll probably be worse in a week and a half, be plenty dullards and fcukwits exchanging spit etc tonight and tomorrow.
I wonder if there may be to scope to arrange one of our previously postponed games for the 9th. The rate games are being called off, there’s a decent chance one of the opponents we had been due to play may also be matchless
https://safc.com/news/club-news/2020/december/fleetwood-town-fixture-suspended Sunderland AFC’s upcoming Sky Bet League One fixture against Fleetwood Town has been suspended. Earlier today, FTFC advised the EFL that it is unable to fulfil the fixture on Saturday 9th January following several positive Covid-19 tests and the requirement for players and staff to self-isolate as per EFL and government guidance. Everyone at SAFC sends their best wishes to Fleetwood for a safe and speedy recovery to all those who are affected. Details of a new date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course.
If not, its not the end if the world. Be a good chance for the new management team to actually get the team on the training ground and try to instill some of their methods as well as getting the lads back to fitness following no training over the past few weeks.
...... and it's a lot of these same idiots who are the one's saying "Nee way I'm getting vaccinated. I read on the Internet that it's dodgy!" F*ckin brain dead some people. I count myself extremely lucky to have got the vaccine yesterday, and apart from a little soreness in the upper arm, I feel right as rain. 600 were vaccinated at Washington yesterday, and I believe the same at Bunny Hill. We're entering the home straight here, and people just need to be sensible to save as many lives as possible.
Think this circuit breaker idea the likes of Allardyce are plugging is starting to look like the only sensible course of action.
