Sean is nowhere near as good on the evidence of the last 2 games anyway.. Mattys has far more awareness of who's around him and he's more mobile.. I think his passing is better also.

I thought he'd totally gone after half time. He was just watching the ball being passed round him. I agree I think he is the kind of player I think we need on the middle but needs to get up to speed.

He was up against some of the best cms in the game and he looked like he belonged their for me... 1st half everyone was better of course, but the entire side was under pressure second half when pool stepped it up and we got tired... I think he's potentially a very good player in the making..

A lucky point at best. On another day we would have lost heavily. Papers over the cracks.

A good point. A hard fought point. But still a lucky point. It’s not as though we defensively shut L’pool out of the game and allowed them no chances. They had at least three or four clear cut chances to score which they failed to take. Still we were streets better than the last four games and as GG (I think) said credit where credit is due.

Now we have to do it again or preferably better next game.
