Don't ever listen to that ****show of a station, don't think the presenters believe the crap they come out with, just try to he controversial to get the phones ringing, which I believe our lot do in droves. Carney made a faux pas, but find that more acceptable than the crass Ill thought out comments that the likes of Durham and Abonglahor come out with.
What I didn't like about what Carney was saying is she didn't back it up. If she had said since Leeds returned to the Championship during the 11/12 season, they have only averaged 9 points from the last 7 seasons, obviously excluding last season when we blew the roof off. Even in Bielsa's first season, Leeds averaged 10 points from their last nine games. That's research.... That's doing your job That is backing up your comments. Standing there looking pretty saying Leeds are a very fit team but have come unstuck 'last couple of seasons' - a Millwall fan could have told you that!!!!
So the same team just played 2 games in 48hrs, 6(six) goals scored, none conceeded. Let the pundits say what they want, can't keep this pace up, burnout bla bla. I remember watching Sky and the presenter was asking how Pogba/Mourinho situation would affect the mood in the changing room. They had Jamie Redknapp, Ruud Gullit and Alex Scott. Ruud started talking about him and Shearer situation, Redknapp was talking about how the banter in the dressing room is altered. Alex Scott actually interrupted them both to put her 2p in. I mean whatever she knows about a mens changing room and the banter that goes on should be on pornhub. What does she know about it? But she had the gall to interrupt Gullit whilst he was on about him and Shearer falling out at Newcastle. I switched it off. What she should have said was that Leeds under Bielsa seem to slump after the Christmas period. That's a fact and hard to argue with. The fact we won 5 in a row BEFORE lockdown suggests that we were doing just fine. It's not sexist, it's just not factual. Do your research pundits. Its comical that none of them seem to know that if teams play 2 up front against us then we play a back 3 and if they play one up top we play essentially a back 2 with the full backs pushing up.
I've no problem with this equality stuff regarding women, but surely then they should expect negative comments if they say things that other's think is wrong.
