A lazy conclusion. My daughter and her mates, loads of them, from school and university are observing the regulations very diligently. My wife, who teaches in a university, is seeing the same amongst the majority of her students. And I'm sure they're not the only ones.

7 out of 12 league 1 games postponed tonight which probably means something similar for Saturday's games. Can't see the season continuing unless they ramp up the testing.

I think we are all capable of pointing fingers and the blame game. In the industry I work In the young uns stand out more as not following rules etc but then young uns hang out more with mates so I may be the impression more than the fact. All I’ve learnt during Covid is that there are some ****ing stupid people of all generations on this island.

I'm a gonna add a yep to this anarl. y'all.

The young'uns I know are actually really concerned.

They advise me on what you can do and what you can't. Which is just as well, cos I ain't got a ****ing clue.

Yet the amount of 50+ I've seen interpreting the rules in their own sweet way is astounding.

When is a mask not a mask?

When it doesn't cover your nose you ****ing garsides!

Asthma an' I'm in a Supermarket. Yer, right.

    Chinny reckon you nomark.

The NHS is close to ****ing meltdown in case you haven't noticed.

This is worse than ****ing April.

Deaths are about to skyrocket because the brain-dead morons screamed 'IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!'

And yet the 40-70 age group expect ****ing miracles.

You're the target age group of Covid 19 you stupid mofos.

    FFS, get a grip.

****s are gonna go a'****ing 'tis true, but the behaviour of some elderly people is disgraceful.

    It's a generalisation, no doubt.

    But...

    Under 35 equals generally ok.

Over 50 equals spiteful, ignorant, selfish ****s.

    Eh?

    I'm a ****ing exception, obvs.

My kids are 25 and 30 and rigidly follow the rules, as do their mates, whereas others I know who are a similar age to me, whinge like **** about masks and bend the rules as much as they can.

That said, it’s unlikely that people going to raves in Wales are over 50.

Agreed. For example, the people dripping out of pubs in Whitby, hardly any of those pricks are under 30.

This is the game changer that the government especially have been banking on , now they will get as many people with the first dose as quick as possible to start bringing restrictions down.

15 mill in 2 months ... its possible so we can start to look towards some sort of normality

They probably had mask exemption certificates around their necks to stop judgemental people from confronting them. It could have taken them years of routine to get him in the shop and if they stop now it could be an important life skill he would lose, he may need to see his parents faces in order for him to feel comfortable, who knows ? if everyone else has a mask where is the problem ?

15m in 2 months is a huge logistical challenge.
Be interesting to see how it would be done, and if it would be achieved.

Nobody confronted them, that I saw. Plenty looked, probably thinking “stupid, selfissh ****s” same as me.

    Problem?

There was no need for him to be there regardless of any routine.

They were putting him, & others, at risk.

One adult is adequate to do the shopping. He & one of his parents should have stayed away.

Shouting, currently, is a stupid & dangerous thing to be doing in an enclosed, indoor area. It can greatly increase the risk of spreading the virus Knowing he does just that makes it even more irresponsible & selfish.

Not everybody else had a mask, there were other vulnerable people around, doing, as advised, their shopping as a solitary adult quietly., keeping 2 metres apart & being sensible.

There were also other knob heads.

So is it a fact that he could have been supported by one adult while the other shops and a fact that if he doesn't go on the weekly shop that his whole life wont melt down. A vast majority of people with mental illness shout and make a lot of noise, should they be banned from all public places ?

Who said banned? There was an alternative. They selfishly chose to ignore it & in doing so put other people at risk.

Can I see your evidence that shows “A vast majority of people with mental illness shout and make a lot of noise” because I think it’s bollocks.

They weren’t doing a weekly shop. They were buying beer, wine & whiskey. I didn’t mention that as I thought it irrelevant.

They unnecessarily put people, including their son, at risk. They’re selfish knob heads.

Crazy that this massive issue could potentially be overcome with a vaccine that costs less than £3 a dose.

I find it hard to understand why you never questioned it at the time? If someone or something concerned you regarding your own personal health&safety then you should've flagged it up.Calling them knobheads on a football forum won't solve the problem.

If your asking for evidence it shows you have no idea. I just have life experience, I get those looks all of the time when I take my son out, although not the majority fortunately. So you put yourself in greater danger confronting these dangerous alcohol buyers, wow your so brave, what happened next

So educate me. You said “A vast majority of people with mental illness shout and make a lot of noise” They don’t. As I understand it people with a mental illness are encouraged to speak up as they tend to remain silent.

What looks do you get? Do you think it’s right that they put people in danger to avoid a “meltdown”

Surely having to deal with a meltdown is far better than having to deal with his funeral.

    It’s not only about them.

I have experience too, I’ve also witnessed the looks just not during the pandemic.
