Man city have a strong enough bench to still field a quality team.
Pulling a covid sickie for having a couple of players out is no excuse.
As for the players they could have caught it anywhere, maybe not their fault.

Disagree, Este. They all have tighter rules to follow than the rest of us proles. Just think for a moment - you've got players worth nearly a billion. Some might be laid low for quite some time, some might not play again, & some might even die. Might, take note. Add to that that their unclear insurance situation wrt Covid, & you realise how they enable all of their players to be wrapped in even more cotton wool than usual. No player should contact Covid if they follow the stringent rules they're supposed to follow. But they don't! That's the problem. Classic case is the Aberdeen team going to a pub that was mobbed out & already breaking the law! Oddly enough, they go infected!

Excellent result and another clean sheet helps with the goal difference. Have to say our crossing is pretty woeful along with corners but that's just being picky. Phillips was awesome. Three absolute cracking golas from Alioski, Harrison and Raphina.

Think it's more the players who have to isolate rather than the ones who have it.

I heard just how ridiculous it is today. A woman who started working at my place recently because she needs a job so took anything to pay the bills. She was working in the arts but was made redundant.
She is sure she's already had Covid at the beginning of the year but still has the NHS app. She got a notification to isolate via the app so informed the manager who told her to isolate. Because she's still on probation she doesn't get sick pay so called to ask for financial help while isolating.
She was told that because it was just the app and not a phone call she wouldn't be entitled to help as isolation is voluntary.
Now she's been off sick during her probation which might count against her and she's lost the wages.
    She's deleted the app
